I can see the gears turning in their head, trying to figure out what their next move is to deal with this situation.
It was to jump on my lap

This is Archie. He just woke up in this picture.

Not a psychokitty ginger like so many others on the YouTube, he's actually real chill most of the time. Not a lap cat most of the time, but he will lie down right next to me if I'm watching real TV.

It's unusual to find a non-crazy ginger. Every ginger cat my family has had has been exceptionally strange.

Old photo - this was Magic, the night we rescued her. She just got done surviving 3 days of freezing rain before we found her while trick or treating. Didn't have anything really good for her so I mixed egg yolk with a little bit of tuna, and she had a fat, happy belly for possibly the first time in weeks.

She's happy and healthy now :)

Christmas kitty, belly full of salmon and mackerel fillets. Meowy fishmas fellow cat slaves.

Draw me like your French girls.

My one is an asshole
I too have a Calico, tamed by me from semi feral. If I'd known anything at all about calicos I would have bought shares in Band Aid on my way home from the shelter.
She's calmed down a good bit over the years but the wielding of murder mittens is still an occasional hazard.
*shouts in to next room* I'm putting hearts on other people's cats again! Maybe if you'd let me get a decent picture you'd get hearts too!
*Response came there none*

Wishing you all a very Kiwi Christmas.

I want to go back to the shelter for that big guy, he was super cute and would surely have fun with the kitties I have now. He is loud and I love that

Tora’s clingy, and is mega gluttonous. Sleeb kot. She’s one years old, and she’s still a big sucky baby for food. And she meows for me when I came back home.

How on earth is he that long

I always encourage the accumulation of felids, especially males of the mini-panther subtype since they are the least likely to ever get adopted at the shelter.
