Yeah definitely. She's definitely a rarity.

I got her about 11 years ago from a good friend of mine whom I met while trolling CWC lol.
 
So an update for Creamsicle, she has found that she can cling to my head when she jumps on me during her zoomies. Vetr is a little angel. She's started taking night "walks" with me. I say "walks" because she'll walk for about a block and half then jump up to get carried for four or more blocks before wanting back down to start walking again. This will continue until we get back home.

one to two is usually fine, they need to be introduced slowly and if the new one is a kitten the odds of bonding are much higher. be patient. they will sort out and territorialize the area but that's all to be expected

To this I would add if you have a female cat, and she has any motherly instincts, they tend to take well to small kittens. I think it activates their innate mommy cat. But just like some humans, some female cats hate kittens and don't have a shred of motherly instinct in them. Usually you can tell what kind of female cat they are by their behavior (just like you can usually gauge what kind of parent a human will be by what they are like before having kids) If you have a tomcat, I'd suggest a kitten, and particularly a female. The tomcat is much less likely to see a female kitten as a direct threat, while a tom kitten could be seen as a threat. However, boy or girl, most tomcat's come around once they are able to school the kitten into understanding who is boss, which can involve aggressive behavior, but is very unlikely to ever be injuring in any way, even if it seems like it could be. It's just meant to show them their "place" in the hierarchy of cat.

Try to get siblings if you think your current cat isn't going to take to a new kitten as fast so they can play with each other. If you haven't had to raise a kitten before, they're rambunctious balls of energy who'll tire you out before they exhaust themselves into a routine but it's a lot of fun watching them grow and develop personalities. They'll come to learn the cat hierarchy soon if not later based on the older one's temperment.

I always suggest a bonded pair, usually siblings. Kittens do better if there is another kitten, unless you have a bunch of cats for the kitten to interact with, which in this case you don't.
 
Zoid is one and a half years. Desexed female. Raised her from a kitten. Had housemates for a couple months and they had 2 cats and a dog, that was her only interactions with other animals. She is very happy and spoilt. My concern would be upsetting the dynamic we have. It's just her and me pretty much 24/7, could see her getting jealous maybe.

Zoid seems pretty content with myself as a housemate, I do worry about her getting bored/lonely.

There's now a third thing Creamsicle wants to kill. She does not like Nulls voice. She sat on my lap Tuesday growling at the sound of it.

I had an orange girl! She was a little more blonde in her later years, she lived to be nearly 20. Her fat belly is dearly missed.

Since everyone else is posting their orange ladies, that’s Seven Bean Machine on the right. She showed up in the alley outside a previous ghetto apartment and my old man orange cat (RIP) fell in love with her so we kept her. When he passed she started getting fat and lazy so we got her Minerva McGonagall there on the left. She is only 8mos old now but she is aggressively affectionate and shaped like a butternut squash. Seven is the most maternal cat in the world (she thinks my human baby is hers) so they are now BFFs.

This is Precious aka P/Queen P. She’s the exception to the derpy orange rule, probably too smart for her own good and keeps the area rodent free :)
