First and middle names. I don't want to put our surnames out there. They're wonderful kitties who deserve the best in life 1000022162.webp1000022161.webp

Proud of my boi today, he went to the vet (who is great, and a very nice guy) and we overheard him in the other room telling one of his assistants that he was very excited to see his "Favorite Old Siamese"

We're noticing that he moves slower and is missing jumps that used to be easy for him, and learned it's arthritis. But aside from being mostly deaf and having Hyperthyroidism he's doing good for a 16 year old cat.

Xia Xue is back home! das Orange came inside this weekend which is the first time he's done so since I took him in. I think he was lonely and wanted company as Dritan is only outside when I go to sleep. Didn't bring in any dead mice/rats or birds which is nice. All he did was flop beside my feet and slept. Xia has her new collar and the cat doors and her cat dish knows who she is now so she can come and go as she pleases. Not sure how long it'll take for her to learn where her cat home is and that that's where her food is. She just wants pets from everyone.

Should send a photo of Vlad to Reggie.

Which Reggie? Video game challenge extraordinaire is the only one I'm familiar with, and I would love to. Congratulations on making headway with your kitties too.

That Reggie, he always goes after that Vlad in his Total War Warhammer videos. Likely because he just likes saying the name.

I meant to say Jae by the way. Just been tired from being so busy. So many cats here now even though I rarely ever see any of them. Only Malan'tai is constantly next to me, but he's also turning 11.

Our new idiot, a rescued stray. I'm currently training her to accept the harness and she thinks it's evil. She's probably under a year old but we have no clue.

Did the harness crash the kitty? Most cats I know bluescreen the minute you try to put a harness on them if they aren't kittens when you start.

This is my 16 year old tabby named Smooch. I adopted her from an older couple a few years ago. She pretty much follows me around the house wherever I go. When I mow the lawn she runs from window to window to watch. Very social and easy going. You couldn't ask for a nicer cat.

3 kittens rescued from what is essentially a giant oven designed to burn hydrocarbon vapors while we load trucks and railcars. Mother left them in there and then was killed by a coyote. Thankfully coworkers informed me they were there before we needed to use the flare.

Related: the black/white one and the gray one have a real bad habit of sucking on everyone's genitals. Any tips on how to prevent that? I've been keeping them split up when I or the gf can't supervise. Real concerned about them getting sick or causing tissue damage.

Oh, and the night I brought them home this gorgeous lady let herself into the house completely uninvited. She did a round of the house, checked the dog, the kittens, drank some water, knocked a bottle off a night stand, got some pets, and then left.

I wouldn't worry /too/ much, mother cats will do that for their babies for hygine reasons, and I assume it's a habit picked up without mom around. Clean them up with a tissue while they're young, it'll keep them from needing to do that before they can do it alone, also keep them on the milk diet for now- at that age (2? 3? weeks) they'll struggle to digest solids and will run a more serious risk of getting sick- I had a kitten who was seperated to early and realized pretty quick when she squirted everywhere.

Thinking 3 or just past. Eyes were open when I found them. They're drinking just about a 4oz bottle each day. Someone else was asking if I was "manually draining" them and I had no idea what he meant. Thankfully they pee and poo on their own. The black and white one emptied her entire bladder on my shirt the other night. Very cool.

Kittens grow and learn fast, by week 6 they'll be well adjusted little gentlement and ladies, mine figured out the box around then, at which point they'll also be capable of self cleaning

Aww, they lay like frogs. I loved it when my cat laid down like that, was always a funny-looking pose.

I hope they weren't left alone for very long before being found, poor little things.

She has claimed you as her own, now you have to keep her.

I have a calm black and white cat. If she comes back then I will take a photo, I think she’s just somewhere else in the house.
