Dox your DNA

I have a decent percentage of native dna since my g-grandpa is metis, wouldn't try it unless a grandparent is full native though since I have a Canadian cousin who is more native than me who wasn't recognized as metis (and metis is a recognized group in CA not so in USA) plus natives don't tend to take DNA tests since they don't want to see their white percentage, and 23andMe only tests Mexican natives that differ enough from US/CAN natives so NA native won't show up in your DNA.
Weird. I knew a guy a in Canada who was super white looking who got native status a few years ago. He was in a smaller province though so they may have been less strict about it.

Strange, said cousin is really into that SJW Native shit but didn't get recognized, he lives in B.C. currently though, might have something to do with it, there's more full blooded natives on the west coast (same with the US).

I’m part viking, but the rest was labeled “no known planetary origin”, so I’m thinking there’s an interesting story behind that.

Yo my family tree shit has me a descendant of Rollo but we became poor fuckers in regular non-Norse England. Of course this shit could all be made up by some borning ass English fuckers tying to look more important.

I'm white, which means that brown people are inherently subordinate to me. I'm also tall, which means that people view me as being a leader and somehow more competent that far more qualified people a fraction of my height.

I make mayonnaise look dark.

Taking a DNA test from a Western company is unwise, and inconsiderate of your relatives.

These companies openly collaborate with the pigs. They're talking about being able to trace DNA samples against records that these DNA testing companies provide to identify many people in the states to at least the third-cousin level or so, and you don't get to opt out. This is an absolute violation of privacy.
Totally agree, but I already fucked up -- too late for me (or my relatives) now. Though I hate a good portion of my extended family -- so if it takes them down, I won't feel guilty.

At least now you can get paid for your DNA...

I remember reading about how some smartypants over at one of the big DNA companies thought they'd troll those ebil whypipo and intentionally and deceptively included some insignificant percent of African DNA for the lulz.
I think Ancestry did it with Jewish DNA. Everyone in my family got a result with exactly 4% Jewish DNA. I was pretty stoked because that meant that I could criticize Jewish people and be called a self-hating Jew rather than an anti-semite. Then they "refined" their process and all of us lost that 4%. Probably because they worried about people like me using it as an excuse to openly criticize America's BFF.

I found out that I'm pretty darn white. English/Irish/Scandinavian/German. Which surprised me because I really don't like mayonnaise or oppressing people of color -- 2 things my people are supposed to be passionate about 🤷‍♀️

LOL Norwegian/Swede on one side, English/Irish/German on the other for me; hello distant relative!

Both sides of my family has been in the same area of rural Virginia since time immemorial. My dad's side has a noticeable amount of VA indian DNA from a not-very-distant ancestor that was adopted by a white family. So, for as racist as I am on here, my dad's family was considered "colored" according to VA race laws for a bit

My mom got her lineage tested a while back using some African-American-specialized service and she got surprised that tracing back to the Berbers made her a fair bit less black than one would imagine. Meanwhile, my dad's grandma was a white woman, but asides from her they're all pretty black. For black populations, maternal history is apparently more trustworthy, and there's a lot of recent first- and second-generation Afro-Caribbean immigrants on my mom's side (Trinidadian and Bajan, respectively).

TL ; DR Sandnigger and street-shitter pass.
