Man. I stopped watching the show after being disappointed with how poorly handled Capaldi's Era was.

And after Jodie Whitaker I see this shit to come back to?
What the actual fuck!?!?!

Also, said Trans person is barely 18? Yeah......there is a good chance a good amount of grooming was involved. It is a good thing Florida is the only state at the moment fighting back against this.

Capaldi had potential to be one of the best doctors. Episodes like Heavensent (My favorite Moffat episode) show that. He was fucked over by Moffat being a tard.

People thought RTD coming back would be a return to normalcy. Even if the leftism in the RTD era wasn't too insufferable the slightest sign of leftism from these people is almost always a sign they're probably gonna be a harpy in current year. Apparently his latest works are way more woke than Chibnall could ever be. Chibb's problem was more that he was a spiteful contrarian who believed noone else was doing the show "right," I fear RTD is going to be full leftism overload.

Other states are fighting back, like Alabama and Oklahoma. Virginia went red over tranny shit in a recent state election.

I've always thought that having fans was like having fleas in terms of predicting a show's long-term health. Outsider artists who only get discovered post-mortem are always the most interesting -- can't speak for the value of fan communities though, I've never been part of one so I can only see the effect that they have on the material. Unfortunately, I assume studios are incentivized to pick up fans since whales make up a majority of a show's profits? That's definitely true of anime, but then that's a more saturated industry. Any way you could see them trawling for fans in that season all about the moon landing where they go to America and then suddenly the production values shot up -- when you're all style and no substance like Moffat, whoring yourself out is just playing to your strengths.

...this sounds like its gonna be such a glorious tranwreck I don't know if I can not watch. Quite frankly I am excited to see how much more POZZ they can shove into the show.
I'm not, the pozzing and obvious grooming makes for sad/painful trainwrecks more than TV that's so bad it's good. I'll probably end up watching two episodes then barely hang on through this thread.

They should adapt The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What Is Known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion into a Doctor Who story. The Vivian Girls are LGBTQI+, so they tick that box, and they are often costumed in a fashion that would make the characters very popular in the BBC offices.

>Season finale
>Doctor is trapped and cornered by Daleks
>One of daleks steps aside and Master enters the scene, now played by American southener, also wearing old fashioned southern look.
>"Weeeell, weeeeell, Doctor, looks like I got you again."
>"Have ya heard of fine ol' Earth tradition named Buck Breaking?"
>Doctor is horrified
>"No, Massa, please don't do it!"
>Master doesn't listen and closes down on Doctor while loosing his pants
>Daleks arround them just stand and scream "VIOLATE! VIOLATE!"
>Camera pans out to space and viewer can only listen to distant screams of Doctor
>Still better Season Finale than The Timeless Child

Never understood why she was so popular. I preferred Donna and Martha over her. Only time I really liked her was in Parting of the Ways. She was usually very annoying for me and was one of the weaker parts of Turn Left (One of RTDs best episodes).
Easy first companion syndrome mixed with people liking 10/Rose romance and Tennant. It’s less to do with Rose and more to do with fans watching to fuck Tennant

I gotta be honest, I always put Rose in last place as far as companion attractiveness went. Hell I thought she looked more monkey-like than the black guy she dated. Like an extra from planet of the apes who didn't need the makeup.

I mean DW and torchwood's general sucking off of Jack Harkness I found annoying too but John Barrowman at least has some charm to him.

The new trans Rose now definitely adds fuel to the "RTD self-insert" theory.
