I pretty much dropped out of Who around the end of Twelve's run and what little I've seen of Whitaker's Doctor was truly awful. I used to be a very big fan. Got into it in the Tenant era and went back and watched most of the Classic Who, bought Big Finish audios... the franchise is dead to me now. I don't really see how it can come back from what's been done to it. I don't even feel motivated enough to hate-post about it or really follow the people who slate it. I've just removed it mostly from my thoughts bar occasionally seeing this thread surface.

I think most people are the same - this thread barely even gets hate-posts, anymore.

The most cruel thing that can be said about it at this point is the most accurate.

It's Discworld's The Watch. Even people who care about the source material do not care about it.

At this point David Tennant is probably prouder about Ducktales than Doctor Who.
 
The Kiwi that said pages back that the BBC would be so desperate to resurrect interest in Doctor Who by recasting Tennant as a actual honest to god Regeneration instead of appearing as a cameo you deserve a Semper Fidelis

tbf they got me during the regeneration i was watching it with my homies on discord and everyone spat their drinks when they saw him just regenerating instead of the black guy that was slotted to replaced Whittaker, he got confirmed as the 14th Doctor but he sadly is going to last 3 specials until the other unfunny come to replace him because we cant have nice things

I dont like they are using him as a way to soften the arrival of NegroWho every single person want him to stay because he is the less bad option

So tell me, they went and cast NegroWho and it's NOT Richard? Because I'm going to be pissed if it's not my boy.

Ah screw it. They don't deserve him anyway. (though it was funny when I watched a video the other day by a nerd who I would probably disagree with on almost everything in life - and even he's admitting Timeless child and Fluxx are awful)

Problem with Fluxx and i blow the mind of several on my discord is that is not even NEW, they used the exact same plot during the VR videogame where check this out, Tennant also appeared as a NPC, it was so obvious that during the episodes it was casually mentioned that its not the first time a event like this happened

The thing is, BBC is believing because the specials are going to air at the end of next year people would have opened to NegroWho and for what i can see that is not the case, this is the most pre announced rug pull in the history of the series

Anyway, there's a theory going around re: the Tennant specials that The Celestial Toymaker (NPH) is the one who fucked with the Doctor's regeneration, especially the clothes, and is orchestrating everything because 10 & Donna are his "favourites". That might be with Nctui's Doctor is shown in that limbo place, he's literally being prevented from becoming the new incarnation.

Tennet coming back is a hail mary to get the audience back. It's as close to a tacit admission of "We fucked up" as you are ever going to get. If the rumour about the NPH Toymaker is true, that will just incense what few fans remain. I'm also convinced that RTD was just saving time when he cast Nctui...getting his next Doctor and sextape cast at the same time.

Out of all the possible retarded decisions, I didn't think they'd go with "the fandom is full of toxic mayo ghouls who are holding the Doctxr back from being a stunning progressive gaynigger from outer space" That always works! I'd say bring back JNT but he was a pedo
