Dr. Who

The word queer is bandied about a lot.
I like to imagine its because there's some drunk barry looking guy on the street outside the recording studio screaming "RUSSELL YOU FUCKING QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER" every twenty seconds while the hosts mumble through the show and pretend they cant hear him

I do like the new tardis design despite it looking like an apple store barfed on alex kirtsman's star trek ship design

I am genuinely excited for Russel to go off the rails and make the equivalent of the happiness patrol for nu-who

Well, that was fucking awful. I didn't have high hopes or anything, but it was worse than I thought it would be.
"Binary... Non-binary!"
That's what saves Donna, and London, eh?
Why don't you shove this shit show up that gaping maw you call an arsehole Russell, and fuck off while you're doing it.

I was brought up on Doctor Who in the 70s and early 80s when it was innocent entertainment and ahead of its time. In the interim, BBC woke nonsense killed it.

To ensure that my wife and I are no longer exposed to BBC woke toxicity, we cancelled the TV licence five years ago and now stick to streaming what we choose to view.

So what's the deal with the back catalog and streaming? It's on iPlayer in UK, and maybe britbox in US/Canada? Everyone else fucked pretty much? Disney+ is just the new shit? If so, somehow appropriate.

Not that I care, I have the whole classic run on DVD and now a good chunk on blu-ray. (And now downloads for the lost episodes, as well as the CDs of the audio.) But anything is better than this current era shit.

Ya know I have said it before but it really bears repeating how the last days of old-who foreshadowed the current nadir of nu-who utterly fucking perfectly

Lets just go through The McCoy era

1 - Time and the Rani: Too shit to have a story
2 - Paradise Towers: Villain is another space-hitler
3 - Delta and the Bannermen: Villains are space South African Nazis
4 - Dragonfire: Was looking through its TV tropes page for proto woke bait (as that cancer hole tends to zealously and approvingly record any and all such instances) but the writer kept bringing up how slutty he thought a child actress's costume was so I decided to swiftly move on
5 - Remembrence of the Daleks: Villains (daleks excluded) are evil fucking raysists and neo nazis
6 - The Happiness Patrol: Villain is Margaret Thatcher
7 - Silver Nemesis: Villains (cybermen excluded) are evil fucking raysists and neo nazis
8 - The Greatest Show in the Galaxy: Villains are disgusting subhuman fanboys who have the unmitigated gall to want the show they are watching to stop fucking sucking
9 - Battlefield: Villains are an evil witch who casts racism on her enemies and the abstract concept of britain having nuclear weapons, featuring a new and diversely inclusive UNIT
10 - Ghost Light: Villains are evil british imperialists...kinda...its another "too shit to have a story" one
11 - Curse of Fenric: Villains (aside from the alien) are evil british establishment figures who show insufficient love for the glorious and wonderful soviet union and the alien villain is defeated in part by the raw power of communism
12 - Survival: Villains are....wait what they are cancelling us? OH FUCK UH......FURRIES AND UH....WAR IS BAD.....SHIT

And this is just with prototypical woke bait aimed at getting asspats and accolades from leftist retards in the Thatcher era, the absolutely fucking abysmal acting and effects are another story entirely. And if you think this is something common to classic who, I scoured back through the sixth doctor episodes and the most I found was the occasional preachy aside about vegetarianism and after that barely anything jumped out until the rather ham fisted (but mostly manageable) environmentalism of the third doctor reared its head

Is this an Ian Levine reference?
No but if the fedora fits

Seems like nothing's planned right now.

They were close. They were so close but they still fucked it up because far-leftism.
I got myself a new account just to post this, put in the most eloquent, Kiwi Farms way possible:
DAVIES, YOU'RE A TRANNY ACTIVIST NIGGER-FAGGOT.

I'm so happy that Blake's 7 isn't revived at the moment. Because this was a continuation of the far-left sperging of the Chibnall era, but with nostalgic trappings to give unsuspecting audiences a point-blank blast in the face with the tranny activism cannon. You know what? I'll only use Iplayer for Doctor Who from the 1960s up to 2016 and old sitcoms, because in one final act, he finished what Chibby started.
That is all.

RTD is going to take a big shit on his legacy, I am all here for it.
It's almost amazing you bring back RTD and he is looking as if he's going to make Chinballs look like a genius.

Well, I mean that's impossible but not even Chinballs ruined Davros.

I dunno about that. The reasoning behind the lack of chair is the most backwards and hilariously offensive thing I've heard from a progressive in a while, but pre-accident Davros not being in a chair isn't really an issue. Especially not with the original actor portraying him. Now, if we see him again and Davros undergoes the mutation but screams out "DO NOT GET ME THE CHAIR, IT IS BENEATH ME" I'll be on the farms to bitch about it faster than the Tardis itself.

And how much have you been harassed over it?
I'm watching it now, and I can't fucking believe that RTD would stick a UNIT scientist in a wheelchair a week after the Davros shit. What a cunt. This show is going to get destroyed in the ratings.

And I have a horrible feeling that the Toymaker episode is going to do character assassination because of the "racist controversy" surrounding the original story.

I'm watching it now and when the tranny corrects Tennant when he calls the Meep "he", I lost it.
Fuck you RTD. Fuck you and your faggotry. I'm looking forward to the day when you are exposed as a child molester and sex pest and your legacy is destroyed.

this bit made me laugh for all the wrong reasons, way to slap us around the head with troonerism innit.

i don’t mind a little politisperg in my doctor who but not when it is shouted at you from about 3 millimetres away. The earlier conversation with Donna and her mum discussing pronouns— I rolled my eyes at it but I can respect it being there. But not when it’s suddenly integral to the plot. Don’t get me fucking started on the fucking alien creature’s pronouns discussion though.
