how would you rank the Doctors you've seen so far?

As far as the characters I'd go with Tennant>Cappaldi>Eccleston>Smith but as far as their respective seasons it would be Tennant>Smith>Eccleston>Cappaldi. Its not even like i didnt like any of the incarnations Smith was less interesting for the most part because he was similar to tennant until he got like 1000 years older, I really liked amy and rory and their interactions with him and the river song stuff was pretty cool and i think he generally just had a bunch of good episodes. Eccleston was interesting but as the first doctor i watched and with him only staying on for one season i didnt really appreciate it that much at the time its more interesting looking back on it now. I really like cappaldis character of the older brash doctor and removing most of the psuedo romance that became prevalent, its just a shame he was stuck with two of the worst companions and didnt have more than a few good episodes, also if they hadnt tried to introduce wackier elements i.e. the sonic sunglasses and electric guitar it would of been better. Tennants just kinda my doctor hes the one i watched when i really started getting into the show, there were wacky elements but they didnt go too far like with Smiths.

And i'll have you know i have been diagnosed as specifically not autistic, although the answer is still probably :autism:

Two of the worst companions true.

Balanced out by the best companion ever who I will legit miss in a show:

Best character ever with the word "Nard" in his name.
Bill wasn't that bad. did you know she's a lesbian?

Ah yes, the Lesbian Bill. Who's character trait was lesbian, carpet munching and lesbianism.

I knew when they mentioned she was going to be the first LGBT companion in the series the BBC would fucking bin it the same way they bin literally all gay characters.

BBC writers are typically the fucking worst of the liberal intelligista crowd and usually write from some sort of warped charicature view. It's like when Eastenders introduced Paul Coker as a gay character and his main character attributes was "sucks cocks" and that's fucking that.

No wonder the actor playing him agreed to be murdered on screen. (They give you the option of how to be written out of the series).

Wasn't Yates gay? They couldn't even get that right.

This may be a rumour but i've heard shes not into men.

You learn everything about her in the opening anecdote of her making a girl she fancied fat by purposely overfeeding her,, showing she is a lesbian and that she is selfishly willing to put everyone else in a worse position if it can make her feel better about herself momentarily. It wouldnt be so bad if they treated that second half like the flaw it obviously is rather than a virtue telling you that she is kind and compassionate even though it doesnt show either of those things.

Also yeah yates was gay and theres also jack harkness who is bi but heavily favouring homosexuality and thinking about it maybe the in the future people dont care about gender or species was a good indicator of how the show was going to go.

TBH, Jack got annoying as hell at times. A step up over Bill "Did you know I'm a Lesbian?" Potts though.

I think she even says she wasn't attracted to her after that, bloody Moffat and his fat shaming!

She was also vastly under experienced for such a role and is clearly still in the "my sexuality is who I am" stage of life. Companions usually have a loose basis of who the actor is behind them.

So typical dumb Luvvie, basically.

Truth be told, I didn't actually dislike Bill *that* much. She had a fairly wide berth to be the worst new who companion, as Clara.. and ESPECIALLY fucking Rose, still exist. Yeah, it was annoying to hear her remind us that she prefers to fuck women every other episode... But I was FAR more putoff by the random social justard inserts in both her series, and the one before it.

That's actually pretty funny. I was expecting something slightly passive-aggressive like on the Transformers Wiki but that pokes fun at so many people no-one can possibly be offended (although of course they will be. It even manages to simultaneously lampoon both sides in the female doctor chimpout which is seriously impressive.
One of my favourite pages tackles this head on, and I highly recommend it as a well-written piece about the show and not just a funny meme. There's a lot of great pages.

Diversity quota may eventually lead to *shivers* an American Doctor.
Im gonna be honest the day they have an american doctor(and i mean a doctor with an american accent an american doing a good british accent is fine) is the day i go suicide bomb the BBC.

I've been listening to the Jago and Litefoot audios recently, and they are quickly becoming favorites of mine... to the point where I am extremely saddened to know Trevor Baxter (Litefoot) died last year, and thus there won't be any more after i get to a certain point... :(

So i never actually watched oldwho, are there any good/easy ways to watch them or is it more effort than its worth?
If you just want an overview, there's a pretty good series on Youtube about each era. It's currently up to Tom Baker.

Eh I decided to check this out for grins, this guy does a competent job of detailing early doctors, but I was getting soy boy vibes from him from the beginning... And then he started randomly sperging about "the patriarchy".

Edit: Decided to keep watching, and now he's sperging about problematic (he does not use that word, but it's implied) racial problems in early doctor who.

It really is a shame that the vast majority of Doctor Who fans seem to be social justards :/
