It really is a shame that the vast majority of Doctor Who fans seem to be social justards :/
Off the top of my head, SFDebris and Dave Cullen are the only ones I can think of who aren't, and Dave Cullen's pretty much given up on the show at this point. SFDebris very probably leans left, but he goes to great lengths to keep politics out of his reviews unless absolutely necessary.

Even if Chuck leans left, he has done such a good job of making it clear that he doesn't care which side he pisses off, that I honestly have all the respect in the world for him.

I don't have a problem with Chuck leaning left, as I'm left of centre socially speaking, I just brought it up because people on the left trend towards social justice thinking and also think politics needs to be injected into everything. But yeah, I remember Chuck saying a bunch of ANTIFAgs got pissed off at his review of the Babylon 5 episode "The War Prayer" because he said using violence against racists was wrong.

Yeah pretty much every video ive seen about dr who in the last 6 months has either been in defence of Bill/ the announcement of the female doctor which just seem to be ad hoc to defend the social justice ideology rather than to really discuss a topic they find interesting. Although thats still not as retarded as the people I saw saying stuff like 'I dont even watch doctor who and i have no idea what has been happening recently but my wife watches it and she thinks its dumb' and then proceeds to talk about a topic they obviously know little to nothing about. Generally the female fans who sperged about how hot Tennant was are the same as those who became SJWs and the nerdy guys have essentially been split in half over the issue of social justice and politics in media.
One of the main reasons i became interested in watching the older who series is because of this video and while i think the guy is reasonable fair it is pretty obvious he critics stuff like this from a sjw lens (seen moreso in his last jedi 'review')

I love Quinton's reviews but recently he has been chimping out about the Last Jedi SO hard.

Interesting, but I'll bet their budget is still shit.

Giant rat when?
Heh... Funny/sad enough... I am currently listening to the final ( :( ) Jago and Litefoot audio, probably ever... and despite being audio, the previous episode featured a giant rat... (It made sense in this context though, as it was a legit call back to Talons of Weng Chiang..)

It looks awful.

As for Chibnall himself-

That didn't take long. The video makes good points though.
Eh, didn't really agree with most of what this video has to say. Don't think he made his points very clearly and he ripped off Mr Plinkett too much. Chibnall's track record certainly hasn't been perfect, but not nearly as bad as this video makes it seem.

As for the new logo... I'm getting Brianna Wu's campaign logo vibes from it:

True. I think Chibnall will be fine. I'm just amused that it didn't take long for such a video to come out. Since he's writing for a female Doctor the SJW crowd on Tumblr and sites like The Mary Sue are more eager to throw him under the bus over the slightest misstep.

Some interesting stuff about the 50th anniversary special and the leadup:

https://nerdist.com/what-the-doctor...ld-have-been-like-with-christopher-eccleston/
Someone who worked on it has been going around showing storyboards of the Ninth Doctor in it before the story was reworked for John Hurt (at the last second).

https://www.reddit.com/r/gallifrey/...f_the_doctor_storyboards_featuring_eccleston/
Thread made by someone who saw a book with said storyboards and took pictures. Also includes people speculating on why Eccleston didn't return and discussion on how stupid production of the special apparently was.

https://forums.digitalspy.com/discussion/1977656/name-day-time-early-plans-rewrites
A list of highlights from an earlier (and darker) version of The Name of the Doctor from Doctor Who Magazine Special Edition 37. This wasn't earlier ideas either, this was the final script up until about 2 weeks they actually started production.

Eccleston's involvement with the show has always been a big debate. I keep hearing different reasons why he left after series 1 and why he wasn't in the 50th. Apparently he was treated like shit by the higher ups during his run as the Doctor but most of the people claiming that had a huge hate boner for Davies.
