I hate this so much, for reasons I don't think I can even properly express right now. This is worse than last series. This is worse than *any* series, and retroactively taints the entire show that came before it.

For my own sanity, I'm going to just pretend that Capaldi chose not to regenerate. Hopefully Big Finish manages to stay relatively good...

When your new old doctor is sooooo awesome you have to get HuffPaint to shill to everyone

I can't wait to see what they top the sheboon with. Because we know this won't he enough to satisfy them, eventually.
Doctor Coon! On a quest to save all the purple lean in the galaxy! Takin' the Tardis to rob all the hairweave shops!

Seriously, fuck this shit.

The "Chibnall Masterplan" seems to be a hell of a lot shittier than the Cartmel Masterplan would have been.

But yeah, that (Sassy?) black woman 'Doctor, who (heh) predates Hartnell' *Clearly* isn't actually what she appears to be. I don't even have to pretend that...

Even if any pre-Hartnell Doctor existed, he/she clearly *wouldn't* have a police box-shaped T.A.R.D.I.S., because we have actually SEEN *on screen* the First Doctor and Susan *steal* the T.A.R.D.I.S. (Clara helped them pick the right one) and it wasn't a police box at the time. It's only even a police box now because it got stuck like that *After* Doctor 1 and Susan left Gallifrey

My partner prefers to think the series ended with Capaldi's Doctor and River Song have dinner at the restaurant on that planet where the night lasts for a hella long time.

I'm sure both remaining fans are ecstatic.

I agree 100%, however, if there's one thing I've learned about SJWs, is that they won't ever let canon stop them.

They will do as they please no matter how much it doesn't make sense, you might get a throwaway line as an "explanation". If you are lucky, they might make a novel or a comic made to attempt to "explain" what happened. Again, If you are lucky.

If this was Moffat or RTD, I would 100% believe this was a misdirection and the fact that it doesn't make sense as a clue. RTD would make the black doctor just a woman that thinks she is the doctor but isn't. Moffat might make her, through a convoluted explanation, and two seasons of clues, an alternate timeline version.

But with Chibnall, I fear he is being serious. I mean bringing back Captain Jack was obviously a dirty move to hide any backlash with fanservice.

They'll film an episode where she lands in Jim Crow Alabama to get lynched by the KKK at gunpoint, once they leave, she regenerates into Hartnell. The trauma of this causes her to stay a white man for 13 more incarnations, have a distaste for guns and avoid America. I'm calling it now!

I'm crying because you're probably right.

The only way this could be better is if all those KKK members are actually each of the original FFFFFFFUCKING WHITE MAAAAAALE incarnations of the doctor lynching their predecessor for being a stunning and brave black woman of color. Then the 14th doctor casually kills them all with the help of the pajeet master and rescues her original incarnation who becomes a recurring character for the rest of the series

I just don't care about the new series anymore. At this stage I want them to fuck up the show as much as possible so I have something to laugh at. Make this thing the next doctor:

Hey she might be a better actor than either of the two latest lady doctors.

This is the War Doctor all over again, how they love to rape the lore for woke points, at least the War Doctor had a proper background but this came out of nowhere

I would (admittedly, mostly ironically) be 100% on board with this if she regenerated *with* the wheelchair. That would be fucking hilarious.

Ehh... I'm pretty sure even Moffat would have made the 50th Anniversary a crossover between 9, 10, and 11 if he could have.

I wasn't happy with the introduction of "The War Doctor" myself, but that wasn't a matter of "woke points." (John Hurt was literally an old white dude.) But it was a necessary evil when that faggot Eccleston refused to come back unless Moffat agreed to a list of his demands (Some of which were incredibly stupid, like having arguably the most important episode in the show's 50+ year history up to that point, be written and/or directed, I forget which, by some random dude who was only on a handful of episodes in Series 1, and hadn't done anything on Doctor Who for YEARS by that point.) Yeah... Fuck you Eccleston. You weren't even that great of a Doctor, and you proved that you're an even bigger diva than Tom Baker ended up being.

"The Doctor Who (heh) ended the Time War" was an essential character in that story. It could have *easily* been 9 with minimal re-writing. (Actually it would have fit *better* with the story as it was written, seeing as how 'The Moment' appeared as Rose Tyler.) But yeah, again, fuck Eccleston.

Finally, (and most importantly,) "The War Doctor," didn't *actually* contradict anything we had previously seen before on screen. Yeah, it was stupid at the time, and it still is... "He had to kill people, (like each and every single one of my incarnations before and after have had to do at some point,) So I don't actually consider him to be 'The Doctor' that's why he never came up before now." But yeah... We never actually *saw* 8 regenerate into 9 (And Moffat was actually good enough to *finally* give us 8's regeneration. As a consolation, he even got McGann to come back for it to regenerate into the War Doctor, and it was actually a pretty great minisode.

This is totally different though. There is no gap between Doctor 1 and Susan stealing a T.A.R.D.I.S. and "An Uneartly Chi..."

No... I'm actually going to preemptively stop myself there because there really *is* quite a gap between the First Doctor and Susan stealing the T.A.R.D.I.S. (which again we have now SEEN onscreen), and Episode One of the show. And for the record, T.A.R.D.I.S was *technically* a term invented by Susan, so the Black Doctor probably wouldn't have called her ship that if she's pre-Hartnell, but that has kind of been retconned over the years so I won't die on that hill...
but yeah. There is literally no point *After* Doctor 1 and Susan stole the T.A.R.D.I.S where Hartnell could have possibly regenerated into a sassy Black Womyn before he *actually* regenerated into Troughton... So yeah, I still don't buy the NigNogter as being canonically before Hartnell. If she is, then the show is truly dead now.

@UnKillFill goddamn your hate-boner for Chris Eccleston is huge

Maybe his blacklisting was a factor in his not being there for the 50th

You know, I think you may actually be on to something... I do think I might actually "hate" Eccleston more than any other Doctor. (Obviously not counting the post-Capaldi bullshit going on now at least, which isn't even canon.) But the dude literally niggalisted himself.

He was nobody before he was the 9th Doctor, and he quit that job before series 1 even ended because he didn't want to be "typecast." (But he sure did "typecast" himself as a faggot.)

That bit about him *demanding* that some (nobody) writer/director be the one in charge of the 50th anniversary if he was going to appear in it is 100% true. Sorry, I didn't save any articles, I should admittedly provide proof, but I honestly don't care enough about Eccleston to do that, still fuck that guy. I bet they're still out there if anyone else cares to look though.

It would help to see where you were even getting any of this. It sounds like you're playing telephone with his 50th anniversary message to the fans (a joke about appearing in the 100th anniversary special). And that bit about typecasting was put out by the BBC if I'm not mistaken (he's said several times he had problems with people who were running the show, most recently one of them being identified as Russel T. Davies himself).

I've heard some rumblings about him having issues with BBC over representation. So I guess if it were up to him the woke gang-raping of the Whoniverse would have happened 10 years earlier.

And I can't help but laugh when I think he went on to do films like G.I. fucking Joe of all things.
