It's not going to go over well. They're doing this in Dorchester of all places, not downtown Boston, Cambridge, or the hipster part of Somerville like you'd expect. Dorchester is poor, violent, and majority black. It's basically metro Boston's answer to Compton circa 1993.

Pretty much the same sort of women who pimped out their children in beauty pageants are the sort of women who attend these events "for the children": it's entirely to scratch some narcissistic itch inside them, which they (poorly) mask behind their poor kids. They're clout chasers who want to be 'on the right side of history' just so that they earn that easy recognition and praise from their clique. It's never been about what's best for their children - I doubt they actually give a shit about their kids - it's about pandering to their own self-righteousness and egos.
And all they have to sacrifice is their children.

It wasn't that long ago that even school children being taught sex education and abstinence pledges were controversial. Mainstream social justice has done what it always does and appropriated a 'minority' pastime without understanding it. It's like white people who glorify black thug culture for the image and forget about the crime and violence.
I'm not condoning this, I don't think it's good, and agree it's creepy as a fuck, but when high school students do amateur pornography as a side hustle and sex and porn is so mainstream and conflated with equality, drag, in the eyes of progressives, probably looks no more lewd like twerking, which people normalised. Gay shit stands out because somebody didn't get the memo that drag is not the same as a bit of fun crossdressing. It seems less the fault of liberal culture than it is the fault of stupid, ignorant or perverted people who can't distinguish between healthy sexual expression and shameless, entitled indulgence.

I always wonder how that happens. I was exposed to porn at a relatively young age(13) and went through the gamut, but I never fell down that hole. Even today I could probably be called a coomer but I never fucked with that stuff.
