As another poster said, people often conflate Satanism as a Humanist movement. Which is the theory that, since there is no God(because atheism), nothing is really immoral, since as long as Humans want something, it should be allowed.
So it should come to no surprise that the most depraved individuals end up becoming attracted to Satanism. If you want to dance naked in front of children, then you are causing harm by denying the person that right.

Satanism is also worship of the self. Narcissists are unable to admit that what they're doing is wrong. They may even get a thrill out of getting so much attention, even if it's negative and everyone wants their head on a pike for the horrible things they do.
They are unable to accept the fact that the right to swing their fists ends where another person's nose begins. Their right to act like a sex-crazed chimpanzee with tourette syndrome ends where the children begin. Or even just the public eye, for that matter.
It's extreme individualism, not in the sense that you recognize yourself as an autonomous entity and recognize that others are such too (and respect their rights). It's where you place your own needs and desires above that of others, to the point where you don't care if you have to directly hurt other people to get it (which goes full circle back to collectivism. Narcissists view other people as an extension of themselves, which is a suprisingly collectivist mindset to have)
If you're enough of a sped to worship the self-proclaimed enemy of humanity, you're part of a doomsday/misanthrope cult whether you want to admit it or not. And therefore you deserve all the derision and calumny you receive, and I don't feel the least bit sorry when your religious "rights" are not upheld, and when your group is designated a terrorist/criminal organization.

See, this is where I’m lost on the “benefit”
of all this. If this were an elementary school talent show and a little boy happened to sing and dance to a song while wearing a dress, while it may piss off some parents, and kids would mock the boy, it wouldn’t really be doing any harm, as long as it was completely nonsexual.We see with pageant shows, kids dance/cheerleader troupes, and of course, child actors, it often veers into sexualized performance, because Very Bad People

(fun bit of trivia in that one if you watch carefully. It was filmed in Atlanta, and nobody died. But if you look really carefully you can see a few glimpses of the indoor Sid & Marty Croft Amusement Park that spanned the 4 floors that now house CNN's headquarters. It only lasted 8 months. There is very little surviving footage of it. That Carosel was supposed to be amazing. All internally lit transparent horses and stuff)
