Speaking of GT, I forgot how much I liked the intro. That shit slaps.
Dan Dan is the best theme for DragonBall, second only to Cha-La.
Didn't the Supreme Kai or whoever tell him to get Xeno or something?
And for some bizarre reason Zamasu wasn't nuking them from existence
In the anime Goku remembers he has the life alert, summons Zeno, and tells him this Zamas dude is wrecking shit. So Zeno just deletes the entire timeline.
The entire idea of Freeza never training in his life is so weird, then how does he know how to use ki? I can understand not being an expert, but seemingly the only people in universe 7 who know the basics of feeling ki without a scouter live on the same planet.
He's a freak, thats how. It's a gay answer but that's all we've got. Aliens in DB seem to just be more naturally inclined towards ki manipulation than Humans. Just look at the Saiyans and Nameks, for example.

We know through hindsight that Goku was using Ki as a kid before he even knew what it was. It's part of why he was so fucking strong and tough. And we saw him use the kamehameha on a first try, after seeing it once.
So Aliens seem to just "get it" on some level, and from there you've got prodigy like Freeza and Goku. Hell Vegeta learned to sense ki on Namek by... concentrating after remembering the Earthlings didn't use scouters. I guess. Idk how you learn to "sense" things after "seeing" someone else do it, but he did.

It makes me wonder if the Kamehameha is even that special. Since it was created on the world of dummies it may just be a regular ass thing that everyone can do

Or how Appule was stronger than 99% of the canon saiyan pre Namek

The world of dummies created the Mafuba and the Kikoho, one is still a serious threat to anything evil and the kikoho infinitely scales up on power with a stronger life force, the Kamehameha isn't as strong as those but its really simple and effective

Is the Kikoho really all that impressive though? It doesn’t have that great of a track record.

The Kikoho is strong but no one else is retarded enough to use their own lifeforce, well except Vegeta during Buu saga

Yea, Tien stopped being useful a long time ago, doesnt mean his only attack isn't good

Yeah I'm not sure what makes it so unique when everyone and their grandma can fire energy blasts. Like what makes it so fundamentally different from the Galick Gun?

There are certain energy techniques in the series that give you more bang for your buck. Like, somebody like Freeza just relies on overwhelming powerlevel, but something like the Kamehameha or the Special Beam Cannon act as a sort of multiplier on the strength of the user. This is why Piccolo's power level is normally 408, but shoot to 1480 when he kills Raditz with the Special Beam Cannon.
Goku's goes from 416 to 924 with the Kamehameha.
The Galick Gun is actually a special technique in and of itself because it allows Vegeta to match Goku's Kamehameha when Goku at Kaioken x3 was clashing with him, and Goku needed to use x4 to finally overpower it.
Power Levels aren't usually meant to be taken seriously, but in the one arc they actually feature, they are a decent way to convey immediate strength.

Most people don't actually bother with techniques that multiply their strength like that, it's really only Earthlings that do. It's like the one advantage Earth has.

Should also point out that King Cold and Frieza are both mutants, which in DB means you're insanely powerful inherently.

Frieza is basically his species' Broly.

You say that like the Solar Flare doesn't almost always work.
Solar Flare lost a lot of its power when they started to fight against people who don't need to see to fight. But then people seem to forget they have Ki Sense anyway so it sometimes somehow still works.
They 100% should've been spamming it on Freeza and his men every chance they had though.
