Daima is quite mid ngl.
I don't even hate it, it's a good show compared to GT and I'd aargue that it's also better than super, but it's just something you're most probably gonna forget by the time it's over.
It's not bad, but doesn't feels catchy nor memorable either, it doesn't help that most new character designs are the definition of slop.
I genuinely think GT had better vibes, at least when it comes to the settings, the few well designed characters it had (like, 3-4) and soundtrack, though it is absolutely a much worse series overall due to writing, pacing and battles, while super is a tale of great highs and rock bottom lows, with the manga too being a roller coaster of being better and worse than the cartoon.

I think "forgettable" is the best description for it that I have.
A lot of media has this debateable quality of just not being good nor bad enough to leave an imprint into your mind.
So far, unless it does something absolutely retarded and makes people regret they weren't watching the gold Freeza arc from dbs instead, nobody is probably gonna remember anything about daima, aside of Water Vegeta going ssj3 against the robot with nigger lips.

When did everyone start gargling GT's balls again? I remember for the longest time it was the blacksheep of the franchise that everyone collectively shat on. Now it seems like everyone loves it.
 
Tangential to the current topic, but did anyone take Frieza's wish in Super Broly seriously, to grow 5 cm I believe?

Since it played no role in the film, I have to assume that it could have been whatever, done as comic-relief and you should not think of it as canon (I guess), but is so ridiculous.

He could have asked for the dishes to be washed or something, just to be more stupid.

It's a fun callback to the red ribbon army and kinda matches with Bulma's selfish wishes of making herself young.

Super arrived and most of the time is ass. Nostalgia clouds judgement and that's a big roles in why people sees GT as if it was misunderstood, kinda like the star wars prequels but with somehow more copium and less memes.
I don't like to play devil's advocate on GT, but it had a few aspects where it was better than super (namely visuals, soundtrack and ideas that worked in concept but were terrible in execution).
I can see the charm in that series, despite being absolute dogshit on nearly any other department.

This isn't ssj4, this is the equivalent of a disney remake of ssj4.
I could spend hours dissecting everything wrong with this design but really, all I need to do is saying "I don't need a doctorate to say that those things on his hands aren't benign."

If we were to get a marvel/dragon ball crossover, he'd be going to wakanda, hurl the current leader down a hole he himself dug and self-proclaim himself black panther.
I already imagine him in the armor, immediately shouting "hello monkey!"

Super went on a competition with GT in order to try and be even worse. I don't think it succeed but it gets extremely close, solely because it did someting every now and then with characters that weren't goku and didn't turns pan into the most hateable little shit immaginable.
GT woul've been better, if not good, had someone in the writing department been able to develop in a functional way any of the ideas they had, instead of just turning it into slop.

Same story as always. Something that sucked ass compared to the actually good stuff came out and people hated it, then something even fucking worse showed up and now they're realizing how "Good" they had it in comparison just because GT doesn't feel like the same eternal plastic-feeling purgatory Super does. Same shit happened with Star Wars.
