I'm not interested in watching Daima. I'm just curious. Is there anything about Super Saiyan 4 in this setting that explains why Goku can't use it in Super? Or is it so Daima and Super just can't mesh together and one of them has to be non-canon?

It seems to be a training thing, Goku mentioned that had started training after Buu but wasn't sure if he could do it. I imagine Neva unlocking his potential made it possible.

The ending kinda sucked and felt rushed after they realized they wasted 4 episodes on fighting the gendarmes and the Ginyu Force rip off.

so no fusion bugs?
kuu and duu don't fuse or don't do anything meaningull?
gomah just is a punching bag with infinite stamina, making it so ss4 was not even needed because even 3 coukd do the job if there was no stamina thing?

did not watch the final episone yet because i'm a dirty netflix watcher, but it is like they really needed a second season to reach its full potential.

It's too bad this is a "mid-quel", because this would have been cool to bring Majin Buu down there and leave him in the Makai, Maybe make him Demon King,
Buu is one of the most powerful characters, but not popular with the fans. So they always have to have him sidelined somehow every story arc. GT cleverly merged him with Uub, except.... nobody really like Uub either.

It's a shame, because Buu is one of the few characters in the franchise with a fun and unique moveset.

I'm about halfway through Daima and I have to say this is pretty unsatisfying so far. What's the point of having a fighting show where the heroes can steamroll everything without breaking a sweat? What's the point of having a comedy show where they just repeat the same few jokes over and over? What's the point of having a bunch of new characters along for the adventure if they don't have any personality or story?

"Here we are in a new demon world, be VERY careful not to burp here because it's considered extremely rude. That means you, Goku."
*BUUUUuuUUuurRRRrP* "Sorry, my tummy was SUPER full after all that food! Anyway, I'm hungry again!"

It's just a continuation of the milking started with shitty super that's eaten up by gatekeeping faggots that were born after the 90s.

Dragon Ball needs to die.

I mean, the real problem with Buu is how many abilities he has that allow him to basically break shit.
There's not a single opponent he would've lost to in U6 vs U7.
Whinnie the Pooh is a stalemate, Metal Man genuinely can't do shit (pretty sure Buu can't feel heat), Frost's poison gimmick is worthless, Cabba isn't strong enough and Hit's entire fighting style relies on vital points which buu has none because magical bubblegum man.
Then you add on shit like Buu's copying abilities and techniques shit which might just straight up let him time skip, then his stretchiness, and his regen, and his ability to heal people...

Is it any wonder he wasn't allowed in the ToP?
