Crappenpants brings up another mysterious figure in the fandom that has some bizarre stranglehold over why FA has been Web 1.0 for so long - Yak. I don't know a damn thing about website coding, how the site is designed, and what-have-you but I know it's been mentioned that any changes and updates that need to be made to the site ultimately need to go through this Yak guy. He apparently deletes anything negative mentioned about him, will not work with anyone or release crucial information that people working on the site need to have to update it, and may somehow be able to take down the site if he's ever kicked off staff somehow? I dunno. Details are murky and I wish someone could expose whatever shit that guy is behind.

It ocurred to me that Dragoneer escaping consequences is almost like PK/GlitchedPuppet and her gang of dumbasses: they have a rep sheet several miles long, and have done things that would have otherwise killed the careers and reputations of small-time or lesser known people. But somehow, they get away with it because of who they know and/or what they do.

In Dragoneer's case, it's running the largest furry archive on the internet since VCL. I do imagine that FA will continue to be FA, but even DeviantArt has begun to hemorrhage users in recent years, I want to suspect the same will happen to FA as well. The only major reason why, despite the attempts of FurryNetwork or Weasyl, FA will continue to be the dominant site -in spite of Princess Piche's dumbassery- is because that's where the money is.

If for nothing else, maybe the surge of SJW furries might be a good thing, if it means that once Dragoneer's antics become more and more known, he'll either get forced out in some quasi-Arab Spring debacle or several big name artists/fandom influencers eventually have enough and move on to somewhere else, taking their pay pigs with them.

All while that happens, Dragoneer will shit his pants and continue to play Elder Scrolls Online.

Well god damn, I'd say it's tragic the biggest furry site on the internet is run by someone who basically optimizes all the negative presumptions about furries (whiny, drama magnet, degenerate, pedophiliac, with a pathetic victimized attitude) And on top of that he e-begs for shit he already makes money on.
