Moral implications aside I'd be cautious about fucking with furries in general. They may seem like mindless coombrains but their fandom is known for being extremely tech savvy making them well prepared for this internet war/drama shit, that and purposely giving them ammunition to get the long arm of the law involved against you is extremely dangerous.

I was going to say, this is most likely what happened; false flag shit is extremely common with these types of parasites, particularly on social media.
