Julian and Dingdong (from oneyplays, a group of guys who are friends with game grumps) talked about the game since they were beta testers.

Dingdong talked in his last stream but removed it after people started talking, but apparently he talked in a previous stream weeks earlier so he did know about the game.

tl;dr: They think the game is an awful cash grab made to exploit guilable lgbt people, because the devs knows nobody will badmouth their SJW game. It probably is, but it's hard to know until it's released.

A lot of his audience are Tumblrinas - literally any drama surrounding Mark is because of Tumblr. Since Dream Daddy is absolutely a game that panders to them, of course he'd play it.

wow this game is so much worse than i expected. (The 3 lower bodies are supposed to represent "trans" but they look almost identical...)
 
The funny thing is, this ain't even the first super gay game. Bastard Bonds is quite possibly the most gay game ever on steam currently.

If you love flapping dongs, dudes 69'ing in statues in the background, man ghost on player rape, and all romance options be gigantic bear gay dudes, that game has it in spades and is like 30+ hr gameplay.
 
Honestly, I couldn't care less about the game. Probably because it doesn't cater to me in the slightest, but what got me angry in regarding it is that a friend of mine said he met someone who was worried about it because straight people were making it instead of gay people. Because apparently people must cater to themselves now. After they say "cater to us, not those people!" Just goes to show that pandering doesn't even really work half the time. Because no matter what, from either the people making it or the delay, the SJW/Tumblr crowd will never be pleased, and are therefore not even worth the thought of being marketed to if you aren't a part of that circle. Even if you are part of said crowd, they can find something to bitch about because they stand more for being outraged than any real cause.
 
There's more salt in this thread about the game existing than there is about the game being delayed a couple days.
