Why did Dreamhost pull the plug now after all these years? They didn't boot KF after far bigger controversies, is it really because of byuu? Is it a straw that broke the camels back kind of thing or did they get a (((call)))?

Skimmed the thread and haven't seen the inevitable hijacking of the name discussed yet. I'm presuming one of two things:

1. The moment kiwifarms.net is no longer yours, a transgender gentleman is going to buy the name and redirect it to a lefty website.

Sure everything about KF is legal but i suppose the registrar is still a private business at the end of the day and can reject business to whoever they want. The only way to fight this is to find a contractual loophole of some kind that would put the registrar at fault for terminating nulls account. Otherwise you could dicksuck a little and convince them to reverse their decision.
