I don't usually remember my dreams, there's usually only about one dream I can remember a month, it's kind of lame. A lot of them are boring, I'm just the exact same things as my normal life, but sometimes with weird differences (random people missing, live in a different city but the same people are all there, etc).
The coolest dream I ever had was last year. It took place in the future after WWIII broke out. There was a Russian-Chinese-Arab alliance pitted against NATO. While the Americans tried to protect Europe from Russians the Chinese began a siege on the west coast of North America. I fought in the resistance or something, not sure exactly what happened before but I ended up being captured and brought back to China as a prisoner of war. Then I was put into a POW camp with Japanese soldiers. It turns out the Chinese were simultaneously attacking Japan but having trouble defeating the Japanese forces. Our POW camp turned into a penal battalion and we were sent to the shores of Japan to lead another attack. Essentially we were set up as a suicide/meat shield front line to help the Chinese get in. Somehow I became the de-facto leader of the battalion despite my lack of communication and everyone followed me. We were getting shot at by the Japanese and then when we took cover the Chinese began firing at us forcing to move forwards and shoot at our allies. We kept running trying to move forward while maintaining cover, finally I led the group to an area providing cover from both sides of fire. We didn't have any choices left, it was a matter of which side we wanted to get shot from. I made a gesture towards where we came from and signaled to ready our QBZ-95's. Then I screamed "SONNOOOO JOOOIII" and we all turned around and started shooting the Chinese soldiers. It was clear we wouldn't survive but at the very least give the Japanese forces the upperhand by doing this and not die as traitors. As my battalion and I were dropping Chinese soldiers everywhere I noticed the glint of a scope in the distance and I glanced at it right before hearing a loud "crack" noise of a single distinct gunshot among all of the other gunfire. Time just slowed down as I heard the sound and then everything went black.
When I woke up I was startled and thought I was in a hospital or had died but then I noticed the details of my bedroom and was glad to be alive.
