Now, I don't strictly agree with this modified paragraph, but Drew is really stupid to keep doing this when people can just point to his past behaviour as an example of why he shouldn't be left alone around children, not that I would've left him alone with any beforehand. Drew lately has come off to me as the kind of guy who would want to convince a little boy that he's actually a little girl, which is reason enough.

I also love his original paragraph's implication that throwing around labels is basically OK, and the onus should be on the accused to fear the accusation.

Yes and no, it's all fine until someone get's a stroke from a bubble in the estrogen needle and decided to insert some supply chain attack that sets your wallpaper to a tranny flag if they detect you have no pronouns in bio or something equally retarded. The current complexity level of most software exposes you to supply chains far more vast than one can imagine.
I'd like to remind you about the node-ipc indicent where some brain damaged developer decided to add code that wipes your hard disks if it detects you have a russian or belorussian public IP and before they caught this it wiped the evidence server of some NGO which was documenting how the russian state breaks basic human rights. or something. But that case exceeded the mental capacity of the javascript coder.

this is what a package manager is for: programs are tested before actually making their way to my system
if there is stupid malicious functionality like that it will be looked on very poorly and the software will almost certainly be forked

many retards fail to notice, but all the troon shit actually tapers off pretty fucking hard at a specific point
not even the craziest trannies will do this kind of thing because they know exactly what will happen to them if they try pulling a supply chain attack (hint: not even the finest troon whining known to "it's ma'am!" will help them)

no reasonable system works like node at all, which makes people getting actually affected by already-rare incidents like node-ipc even rarer

Python's PyPi, Maven, nuget, docker hug ... most library/middleware repositories allow direct user uploads. Even some end-user repos like FlatPak. Maybe you're saying they're very few package managers that aren't "satanic"?

Only stuff like Google/Apple/Microsoft are "curated."

Debian based distros, rpm based distros, F-Droid, and others are semi-curated. They allow for 3rd party repos you can add, but you have to add them explicitly.
