I got a talk with a couple of buds of mine a few weeks ago when the shitshow started about the "ethics of KF" (since they only know i lurk the forum). To not bog down the post or go TMI, they said the forum stalks and is constantly harassing and i replied with the obvious fact that everything posted here is 100% public, gathered from public websites.
In the same vein, i got told that because KF is a directory for DawxXxing, the site was personally responsible for any threat or attack against whatever weirdo tranny that gets told he's not a woman. Like a rational person, i know that this place has rules and whoever pokes the cows or makes a retard of himself IRL is usually not a member of the forum and should, most likely, get featured here like some a-logs that just want to fuck around. But some people do not have the brainpower to know that there are people that want to fuck with others no matter what. And even if KF wasn't the place were all this information was available, they would find it in some other way and do it.
I honestly believe the one that grilled me the hardest would blame gun manufacturers for gun murders. After all, when i brough up public records and registries being to blame for their information being here, he agreed that they should be blamed for it.
He's the ones advocating for self-censorship and limiting freedom of speech. He's saying that you have a duty to consider your speech before making it and that you should refrain from speaking if someone might dislike what you have to say. The "doxing" isn't the actual problem, that's us providing evidence or reference to our other statements, it's the criticism and mockery that's the problem. That would never be allowed even without the "doxing" aspect because it'd be called harassment, hate speech, etc.
I'm not even a US citizen and I apparently know US laws better. Doxing isn't illegal, you're misunderstanding your own laws. What is illegal is posting the address or personal information of someone online with the intent to intimidate them over a legal matter, or if the means through which obtaining that information was illegal (ie hacking).

Even when i came to criticize troons (obviously, not being overly offensive) he is the type that goes on that TERF rethoric is violent and backwards and shouldn't be allowed because (horrible) people might adhere to it and therefore come to hate trans people. In the same vein, you shouldn't critizise primitive cultures with backwards traditions (like believing that when a doctor takes blood from you he will use it to enact black magic against you) because their beliefs are perfectly valid and just another way if seeing things.
I even brought up other stuff like the zoosadists or the translifeline scam. And even with that, he grilled me that it doesn't excuse the innocent people that are caught in the crossfire or that might get unjustly harassed or dawxXed because of evil KF. He even went the "And what if this happened to Null?" and i had to explain how Null has gone through it for years and lives with constant slander. He even tried the "And what if it happened to you?" and then the self censorship started because i try to not be too much of a retard online.
