I would add in Electrum in between coinbase and sending to Site.

It has been said Coinbase will kill your account if you send direct.

Electrum is a decent middle man you can create multiple wallets and send/receive pretty easily

Do NOT use Coinbase for anything related to this site or for anything else remotely sketchy. They have a history of canceling accounts if they don't like where you're sending your money from or where you're sending it to. If you buy BTC, send it to a personal wallet before sending it here.

Or convert it to Monero or some other privacy coin (which Coinbase doesn't support).

Kraken is a little less uptight about KYC/AML stuff and also actually handles Monero, although you can use Cake Wallet which has a built-in currency converter (that uses something called changelly which I believe has low fees). You should generally not leave money on exchanges unless you're a speculator anyway. If you don't have the private key to the wallet, you don't really have the money.

If you get yeeted then you make an account with a different service. Assuming CB hasn't blocked nulls address completely the money will still go through for your one time donation and be unabled to get clawed back

If you can do it once with training mode on, you can do it again with a little less dickholding.

If you know what you're doing where all those steps make sense and isn't gobblygook you wouldn't be asking for dumb boomer advice. Should have beaten me to the punch on the "how do I as a dumb boomer send money" I guess. And ask Null to update his advice on how to buy crypto while you're at it
