So, the bad news is that they seem to have gotten most, if not all, T1 Fiber providers to blackhole traffic to KF.

Not sure how they did it this time, but their go-to strategy of fake legal threats, email-bombing, "Friends at Google/Amazon" threats, and other harassment seemed to work lately.

The good news? The site is still up, fast, and responsive. And all it took to get back on was switching my VPN to the Netherlands.

If the government doesn't provide the service, you have almost zero rights outside of contracts. If there isn't a competitive market, the seller can dictate the terms to the buyer so a contract isn't much use. Go read the EULAs for the internet services you depend on - your primary email account. They'll all have a vague "anti-hate" clause. You could lose your email for using it to access kiwifarms and you'd have no recourse.

The only way we return to a free internet in the US is to restore competitive markets via trust busting, or to have the US government regulate or operate infrastructure so the monopolists cannot easily deprive us of our natural rights.
