Corporations haven't had it this good since 1890-1910. They maintain it by playing all sides. Woke trans shit is something that costs them almost nothing and curries a lot of favor. Sucking the lady dick and castigating themselves for their whiteness gets them allies among the progressive caucus that would otherwise be for regulating their ability to rape their customers and workforce.

For tech this works two ways. Being trans friendly means you'll attract a pool of technically competent literal autists who don't understand personal boundaries and will allow themselves to be worked to death for lower wages. Politically, shit like forbidding misgendering gives you leverage with the totalitarian left - right now they've got something the constitution forbids them from implementing by law.

On an individual level, the professional managerial class are the antithesis of leadership. Most of them would inject themselves with horse piss and cut off their own balls or tits if it meant maintaining their influence, power, and wealth. It's all about showing the ownership class you're willing to debase yourself and others in absolutely any way.

Decided to check the DropKiwiFarms tag just to see what exactly is being said. It was a complete waste of time, as I suspected, but I did glean a few things. One is that there are barely any interactions happening. The thing with a lot of chronic internet users is that they have short attention spans. There are only a couple of really dedicated people still doing much of anything.

The seething is immense.

The funny thing is that kiwifarms wouldn't have even gotten as well known as it has if it wasn't for these weirdos screaming about it constantly. I'm fairly sure everyone would have been happy to sit in the dark and gossip about our favorite autists. I mean, it's kinda like going outside and deliberately looking for piles of dogshit. Then leaning down and putting your hands in it and shrieking about how dogshit keeps interfering directly in your life after being the one who chose to put your hands in it. Just ignore the dogshit and the shit will just keep being shit far away from them.

But then again, for the chronically online, they can't help but look for things that deliberately piss them off. It's the only way they can feel anything at all. Fighting for stupid causes is the only way to feel like their empty lives have meaning. When they go to bed at night, they dream of how they will vanquish the evil dragon of the internet in order to stave off the thoughts of crippling loneliness and insecurity. They can never stop looking for the next fight, and I can't help but feel like that's a terrible fate. A fate they brought on themselves because never once, have they ever thought of just exiting their browser and turning off their computers. We have no great war to fight in, so they had to invent one. An invented war with no honor, no glory, and no valor. Just screaming on the internet.

It's sad, but I have no pity for these people.
