Drunk / High Thread

My buddy and I bought a bong yesterday for $25. It ripped surprisingly well for that price, and we were gonna cherish it until he dropped it on the ground getting out of a car.

We're working out custody for the new piece as I type.

Typing this on my iPad makes it look like an arcade cabinet. Whatever. Fuck You.

Don't know how, but I managed to get drunk on five cans of 3,5% beer. That's just not how it's supposed to be: normally I can down a bottle of wine, add some cans of real beer on that, and then half a bottle of booze without getting real drunk. Maybe I finally blew my liver. We will never know.

I hope it's nothing too serious.

I'm not high, but this is my 420th post.

I'm drunk, courtesy of the generosity of a friend and her vodka. She tried to start me off with some bundie that strangely appeared in her drink cabinet, but I couldn't drink it because bundie. I could probably drink it now, but I poured it down the sink. Hate bundie. I'm not all that big on vodka either but it gets you smashed quickly. I've had to drink a fuckload of it to finally reach inebriation because off all the prescription drugs I'm on. I'm finally watching the Rick and Morty show that people keep getting wet over. When I started I was sober, but the drunker I get the more it becomes funny and the easier to understand what the fuck is going on.TThe first few episodes I was pointing out all the rip off I mean homages to my friend which was great because she's this huge film buff and she is always pointing out all of this to me so that's good because I know way more about animation and cult SciFi than she does so it's good to know something she doesn't but now she just told me that this is a reference to Needful Things and I haven't seen it so score to her. If it wasn't film spell check software I'd probably be writing in Croatian right now. My tinnitus is still giving me grief even though you'd think tgat getting drunk would hwlp with that.

EDIT WHEN SOBER: For the record my friend's knowledge of pretty much any type of film is insanely good, especially for cult films. I do stand by my statement that I know more about animation than her, but I cannot substantiate my claims of having better knowledge of sci fi/ fantasy cult films.

I'm going to have somemore vodka now.

Why are their so many cock's and tits in this? An every third character Johnny depp.

BBrak show?

Would it be bad mannered if I threw up at my friend's house but it's not her house but her mother's and she's here because she's broken up with her boyfriend and hasn't gound her own place ye? It's not even moby vodka either. It'll be a third of a bottle ilbu ic I can finish the one I'm on but I really think I'd throw under if I drink anhhub more.

Rick is such adick.

Sobering up now. I've drunk my two glasses of water, but even with that the hangover is going to be brutal. Over a quarter and just under a third of Absolut. Not brilliant but I think I made a reasonable effort. Vodka isn't my thing but it's a good way of getting smashed because when you start off, you drink a small amount that's easy to hide in soft drink, and steadily keep topping it up until you get to the point where you give no fucks about how it tastes, you just want to drink it. That said, I'm not sure it's possible to be drunk enough that Bundie rum tastes good. It's a hell of a lot closer in taste to bourbon and whisky. Whisky has never appealed, and when I started drinking it was with my friend Mr Beam, until the night I got so legless that waking up the next morning with a foul headache and stomach that even seventeen years later, even the faintest whiff of bourbon makes me want to throw up.

Inebriation is an odd beast. Most of the time the inspiration it gives you is disastrous, but there amongst vast quantities of broken mirrors is a diamond hiding out in the witness protection program.

gatorade dude. or powerade. powerade's better

I had fireball last night.

I'm drinking gatorade right now. then I might have some caffeine. then I might go across town and get some food.

I'm gonna be snowed in tomorrow, I have a nugget-and-a-half of Sour Kush, takeout Pad Thai, some instant ramen, half a can of instant coffee, a chicken sandwich and a drawer full of snacks.

it has snowed for the first time in a while and in georgia tradition no roads have been salted or plowed. i'm stuck at the bottom of a hill, and i have no weed.

i'm getting drunk today. more drunk, that is.
I know there's differences in weather, but it will never not amuse me as a New Yorker to see The South basically act exceptional every time it lightly flurries or reaches a foot of snow, while we can basically shrug it off.

nobody ever knows what the fuck to do, without fail, when it snows. at this point it's a cultural tradition.
