"DSP Get a Job" Sign at WWE Smackdown

he gets all happy for barely breaking even on k/d. its fucking funny

He kept on bragging on how he was "BEASTING" in CoD so I had to look up his KDR, it was 1.2. Anything over 1 is good because it's a net gain but killing 12 people and dying 10 times isn't really BEASTING.

. . .and to harp more on Phil trying to shame the dude in the front row: just checked Ticketmaster and those tickets are >$500 so yea. . .Burnell wishes he had that kind of disposable income to troll someone (while also enjoying a wrasslin' show).

The "kid" has plenty of disposable income. Someone tweeted him about hiring a skywriter to write DSP GET A JOB above Target on a Saturday, and he actually reached out to a pilot friend about it. Apparently it would cost $600.

And you know how many times that WWE-pic has been shared since that first time? Hint: Not twice.

It's dull.

Maybe don't read/post in a "DSP GET A JOB sign at WWE SmackDown" thread and whine about people talking about DSP GET A JOB signs at WWE SmackDown?

That is a fair point. Nevertheless, I shall keep calling it a dull stunt. Hopefully you're not taking it too personally.

I personally agree that it is getting kinda stale at this point, because even if it is getting responses, they are just singular social media posts, AFAIK, it's not like DSP has been raging about him all week! (I still live in hope though lol).

Not to mention the fact that he is just exposing himself to crazy DSP people by confirming his location and giving them his picture (if the photos are blurry, just download the show itself in a higher definition and you've got your start).

Doesn't that make it all the more baller?

No, it only makes him an easy target for crazies who want to please Phil, for a year-old joke.
Maybe I don't know much about Phil, but I see his following as a bunch of keyboard warriors who could dox someone, but never actually have the balls to follow up outside of the internet.

The needlessly asocial, extravagant public display is what makes it funny. I think people are taking this as an attempt at some sorta psychologically impacting "twist of the knife", which would be confusing simple comedy. If it gets a reaction outta Phil and the "Dickriders", it's a nice bonus :)

It's just some idiots trying to make each other laugh. Measuring the reactions takes the fun out of it, ya know?

Maybe this serial sign waver has gone the way of secretlifeofdsp and gotten a big head with his fame, and now we're following behind, believing in a depth that's only a diversion from the original comedic intentions :/

I think @neural meant the Sign Guy's exposing himself to doxing and other online harassment?

This is the internet. Doxing is the go-to revenge weapon. Witness the January Harvest. I'd think that's motivation enough to keep your identity from potential crazies, right?

I'm not sure if anything's been done "outside of the internet". When the former Phil fan "Kaveri" exposed some rather banal info on him, Kaveri was allegedly threatened with a "SWATing".
