I for one don't think Phil choose this. He said someone helped him look through the react video so I bet that same guy choose that thumbnail and said "yes Phil this will make you look really good!" And Phil being the lazy fuck he is simply took and ran with it. Well why the fuck did you suggest it as a monetary reward for hitting the sub goal then Phil. This reack-ack-ackt video didn't even start and he's proving them right already. Everything is always about him, no one else matters. "It's going to be hurtful to me." Yeah i'm sure it will be, just like it was hurtful to them for you to not call and wait 7 years to finally fully address their concerns.... with a dollar amount attached.

Apparently when he says "no monetization" what he means is "he'll still take your money and just not have any indication of it on screen". Not showing the tips goal is the natural endgame of all his skeevy information hiding about his donations. The delaying updating the tips goal when one comes in, the rounding down to make it look like he got less, having three different tip goals so it never looks like he's actually met a goal. Now he's just hiding everything. I hope this doesn't fuck up detractor accounting.

It's brutal. I'm a fan of An1337's theory where he just watched the video in full the other day and realized this is going to be an issue now.
But he's banking on this as a cash-cow event for tips, so he refuses to actually just shut money down for a day.
The worst part is that he has to lie about extremely obvious things to make it sound like he can't just disable incoming money completely.
It's indefensible scum. And it's all the better because it involves Rambo and Howard one last time. It proves he is literally everything they said he is before he even opens his mouth.
