It's sounding increasingly like this may be a bank/interest rate/loan related issue, given how it hasn't instantly changed. I'm thinking he's been given notice about an impending change in his loan/credit and the bank is taking a bit of time to push through.

You could be onto something here. Looking it up, I see that DSP moved into the Washington place in June 2014, about 3 years ago. Maybe he has a 3-year ARM (the shortest variety) that's about to reset for the first time and the rate's set to jump way up. Then he'd probably be desperately scrambling to refinance it into something else before that happens, but with his credit being trash it wouldn't be easy.

So does that mean it is something that doesn't have to stretch out the rest of the year but he is choosing to drag his feet? That could either mean it is not a big deal so he is drawing it out to have something to bring up on occasion to beg for money, or he knows the end result is going to be bad so he isn't rushing to do whatever "work" he needs to do to continue this process.

This being adsense related has never really been discussed much that I'm aware, so its perhaps an interesting angle.

That's a lot of leaps in logic and speculation.
The "Leanna's Adsense" theory has never been confirmed publicly, they were a few speculative posts about Phil's adsense, but there is not even the slightest speck of evidence pointing in the direction of this theory being true.

Phil using Leanna's Adsense came from a Sokast didn't it? Like Leanna being pregnant it was one of those things people just took as fact and ran with it, but unlike the pregnancy this has never been proven false so it keeps coming up.
