Phil neglected the fortune. You can get a business degree, but that doesn't mean you know how to run a business. You can buy two houses, a new car, and marry a stranger, it doesn't mean you are a success. You can pay to win at mobile games, doesn't mean you are a winner.

Does he think credit isn't real money?

How can he say he can't afford to go out to eat, but he can afford to do it on credit? The money doesn't magically appear/disappear dipshit.

Not surprised he's now trying to get out of all his debt via bankruptcy. Was probably his plan all along.
