I think weed is best when you only use it once every couple of months. Same with alcohol, too. I'd side-eye anyone who says they use either daily.

It's also more fun because it means I've never built up a tolerance to it, so every time I do smoke a joint I get absolutely twatted off it lol.

I only had the displeasure of being within arm's reach of a weed smoker once during my stay in the Netherlands. He lit up a blunt without asking while I was driving with with windows closed. This shit was so vile and acidic I immediately began to choke and my eyes started to burn so bad I could barely see through the tears. I couldn't even speak and it took that retard several seconds to realize something was wrong before he finally fully opened his window and tossed the blunt out. Thank fuck the highway was relatively empty that day. I don't get how anyone could enjoy or even tolerate something like this.

I just want to say to the weed smokers in this thread that if you take a month or two off that shit you can save money by lowering your tolerance and getting higher on less THC. You can also find yourself finding better coping mechanisms than weed alone can give you.

Just saying.

I don't use it as a coping mechanism, I just like being stoned out of my mind. Exercising/MMA does wonders for me.

however, i do agree with your first point. if you ever feel that you're not getting high anymore, take a tolerance break

Fair enough and I imagine a lot of weed smokers are like that (myself included), just dealt with enough dummies that say "I can't live without weed, life is so stressful!" That I thought I should mention it.

I've said it before but this is the perfect place to repeat it: ever since Trudeau mandated it I smoke just enough to pass daily quota so that the RCMP (royal canuckistan marihuana pushers) don't kick in my door and haul me off to the green room. It's horrible.

I think the most important question when talking about if weed consumption is bad, is the age when someone starts with it.
There are tons of legit studies and personal anecdotes when it comes to weed and bad outcomes for cognitive function / loss of IQ if a person is younger then ~25 years .
The fact that modern weed also tends to be veeeery strong is also not helping.

When I was still a teenager I smoked some weed from time to time and I regret it a lot, same goes for drinking alcohol to the point of beeing drunk, rather then be just a little tipsy.
After quiting weed and only taking small hits from a joint every few years, I only had horrible reactions like paranoia and being irritable, the sample size being 3 cases , with the last case including a feeling of impending psychosis.
The latter is very concerning since I love me some strong magic mushroom doses at least 2 times a year and never got close to such a horrific feeling o_O

So yeah, better avoid weed, never let it become a habit and try to get weak THC content weed if you really "need" to try it.

Two weeks is good enough of a tolerance break to get the CB receptors back to normal. If feel like you need to but can't do that you've got to take a look at what's going on in your life and your relationship with weed. Situational though, if you're in a good place with your current usage there's no inherent need to take a break.

If you're like me you'll want to sometimes just for a different perspective.

Longer than this is way better if you're having some negative psychological or physical effects though. Receptors in general really aren't that well understood.

Weed doesn't do much for me anymore.
I don't get stoned like I used to get and it wasn't from lack of trying.
Also when I smoked weed a lot I was also a pack-a-day smoker and I could chain smoke cigarettes one after another but one hit of weed and I cough like a bitch.

Every weed-advocate I've ever met is always complaining about money while spending hundreds of dollars a week on their "medicine", and then as they build tolerance they start taking RSO and shit. Sounds like an addiction to me.
it's definitely psychologically addictive

kinda weird though if im somewhere where i dont have any and cant get any i dont care. same with cigarettes. but if im somewhere i can and i dont have any my brain is definitely going you need to get some weed go get some cigarettes faggot do it now now now

I'm a daily smoker, but I like to space it out and especially don't mind when I'm working or have important things I need to do that day. Also 48-72 hour t-breaks work pretty well for me.

Recently I had some real sticker shock checking out Colorado weed prices via google maps and comparing against what I remember paying pre-pandemic while visiting. In comparison both California and Oregon are a lot cheaper now at the legal places than from a few years ago.

people who smoke weird are always just really lame and boring, alcoholics are cringe too. The fact that weed and alcohol are the drugs of choice of the mouth breathing masses is proof most people are unironic NPC tards, you know, no offence.

what people don't realize is that weed can make you lazy, it can make someone feel less motivated to do work. however, i think there are exceptions to the case. i think that should be more on the part of the person themselves rather than weed
If you think weed makes you lazy, I got 2 things to point out. 1) Let us not pretend for a second stoners aren't already lazy people. If you took their weed away, that wouldn't instantly become motivative. 2)The vast majority of industrial, construction, and service workers either drink or smoke pot. If that were true, this country would have died decades ago.

So are you against sugar, corn syrup, caffeine, and social media? Far more of a problem weeaboo.

Is it just flower that doesn't get you high? Have you tried edibles or concentrates? I said the same thing until I got access to dabs, now I don't typically go back unless I'm in the mood or I mix both together.

perfectly fine opinion to have

I'm sure that they were already lady beforehand, but smoking indica all day, a strain that people call "in da couch", doesn't exactly help the fact either. maybe i misspoke, but I don't believe weed itself makes you lazy, but I don't think it helps it either.

i think you're taking my point a bit too literal. i am aware there are exceptions to the rule. you practically have to be a stoner to work in the food service industry

Potheads anger me so much, from their annoying voices to their garbage arguments in favor of pot, such as What About Alcohol? Weed is medicine, dude; its not addictive. Or Americas not a theocracy, bro, stop biblethumping, let me smoke pot, or Freedom, even though they only care about the freedom to smoke pot. Is there any other argument in favor of pot besides these?
