Due to Covid19 I gained a dog, anyone else have something unexpected happen due to covid19 that's positive?

I discovered Hamberlynn out of boredom, got addicted to loling at compilations of her, and got super motivated to stop being a fatass. I'm back to counting calories and nutrients and it's surprisingly not very hard? It's not as hard as I thought to say 'no' to certain portions or foods.

I also started making stuff with perler melting beads. I'm super into it and try to challenge myself to make more difficult things.

My Dad has leukemia. Thankfully, it's a very rare treatable type and he's doing well. That said, I got to spend a lot of time with him indoors and during our 2am night-walks. I love my dad and I realize how precious every lingering moment with family is. So in a way, this situation helped us grow closer.

So I posted this two weeks ago because, at the time, my Dad was just diagnosed with this disease.

I found out today that he was misdiagnosed due to a lab mix-up. He actually has something pretty non-fatal and treatable called ITP Disease. They will be monitoring him for the next few months just in case but:

My Dad is cancer-free after weeks of worrying about all the scary labwork he was doing.

Anyway, 2020 is completely redeemed for me simply by that miracle alone. I'm gonna go drink my ass off.
