Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Can you imagine what would happen to Wikipedia if every article had a pinned photo of the neckbeard's who wrote it in the top right with their bio? Like, you go to the article on Cheetah's and you see a photo of a 300lb diaperfur smiling at you. How long would it take for the entire website to just be abandoned?

I like how they call White Genocide a “conspiracy theory“ while claiming that the “Trans Genocide” is 100% real. Because people cheering how whites will be a minority is only a conspiracy theory, but trannies flipping out because they can't groom children is anudda shoah.
If you want to see their lovely bias at play, look at the page for the murder of George Floyd and many other blacks killed by white people or suspected "White Supremacists" in the U.S. They usually go out of their way to mention this. But when an African-American is suspected of killing a Ching Chong-American, or so on, this is often omitted, or barely mentioned in the article. The only mention for this case is in the Wiki page categories, describing it as part of the "African-American–Asian-American relations".

Her lead section describes the victims ethnicity, being an Asian-American, but does not mention the background of her suspected killer.

Based if true. And probably why theres been so much tranny subversion of nerd communities why? I don't know.
English/US Wikipedia is pozzed beyond belief, and it would take a veritable troon genocide and going basement to basement with flamethrowers to ever save it.

The individual language/country Wikipedia’s are still relatively sane.

For now.

Opinion is saying you oppose somebody politically. Falsely claiming someone is a goose-stepping Nazi in a way that millions will see your lies can ruin people's livelihood and the defamed should be able to sue for damages. NYT v Sullivan is a horrible precedent and should've been overturned alongside Roe and the Sullivan Act.
NYT vs Sullivan was a ruling of its time and fine for it’s time. But the media landscape has drastically changed and it no longer makes any sense.

Funny how the “muh constitution should reflect times hurr durr dead white slave owners”-crowd never brings up that very obvious case of a ruling that doesn’t reflect the modern world. (Nor really the constition.)

Two consecutive quarters with declines in GDP were historically used to determine if a country is in a recession, but now that this has happened in the US, the administration has been trying to spin it that this is not an "official" definition or that other economic factors need to be considered.

I went to the Wikipedia article for "Recession" to see if this redefinition was in place and if I could find a recent edit where it happened, and sure enough… Here's the edit from yesterday where the "two quarters" definition was excluded from applying to the United States.

The previously-cited source article which is apparently no longer trustworthy is explicitly tagged with "U.S. Recession."

Some truth-inclined people are peeing into the ocean on the talk page, but we all know how that will go.

Wikipedians work fast to redefine terms the government has.

There is starting to be an edit war over this, User "Soibangla" the main one adopting the Biden regime talking points, with user Endwise refusing to back down and armed with notable, serious sources.

This is a massaging they would never accept from any Republican administration (and rightly so), that user is claiming 'we' are just interested in the article to crow about it, no. I had a feeling when the media did this push a week ago "what is a recession, really?" that Wikipedos would do the same thing and they did not disappoint.

"Wikipedo" is putting it lightly for him, guy fits every stereotype in the book:

I looked up "Soi Bangla" and it's a road in what's basically the Las Vegas Strip of Thailand. Maybe that's where he picks up his ladyboys

Update about the Recession article in the A&N thread.

Update: It looks like a user JPxG has taken control and moderated the offender:

The correct definition is in the lead again:

Freedom won boys, but I’m sure the DNC will siphon some more money to get more than one user on the scene and correct this ‘error’ within the next few days.

A user named JPxG has taken control of the talk page and has posted a FAQ. He seems like a decent guy. I’m surprised the DNC could only afford one or two guys this time around.:politisperg:

Is Soibangla a good-faith, neutral editor? Or does he treat wikipedia like his own text-based, autistic MMORPG and spend all his time engaged in partisan edit wars?

To answer that question, let's see where he has concentrated his 19,763 edits:

I don't think I could make up a more hilariously partisan edit history if I tried.

Agreed. Looking at JPxG's edit history, you can tell he's not a full-time partisan warrior. He's a much more well-balanced autist who primarily edits articles on random islands, chemical formulas, relatively obscure historical elections, etc.

Oh it gets even worse. The guy appears to do no edits that aren't related to partisan politics. They are all either Trump related, Democratic talking points, or objects of liberal scorn.

Noticed this one in his list - why the fuck does this 'concept' even have an article?

What conservative calls grooming “a far-right conspiracy theory?”
