Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

It's been removed now but wikipedia briefly had the United States under Donald Trump listed as an example of an authoritarian regime, on par with places like China or North Korea.
They still list Hungary as authoritarian, but not Ukraine.

This is the article:

The lists are towards the end. An editor added USA under Trump last October, and it was removed a few weeks later after the discussion here:

Notably, they also list Israel under Netanyahu as authoritarian.

Such lists could not possibly be objective and neutral, but they argue about who does or does not belong anyway.

Ladies and Gentlemen I have found one of the worst Wikipedia article and it's not even trooned out or about Trump.

The System (Gaelic Football)

For those who don't know what "Up the 'Ra" means let me explain. In the 1880s various Football codes were being developed. The Irish long time and well deserved haters of all things British and especially English decided; no we will not play this gay Association Football we'll play our own version of Football mixed with Rugby. Then we'll use our stadiums to drill militias to tell the Brits to feck off back to their ugly wives.

Traditionally Gaelic Football was played by manly farmers who went to Gaelic Sports pitches after Sunday Mass to duke it out with other farmers for the pride of the Parish and their County in the All-Ireland Football Championship. That changed in 2011 when Jim McGuiness took over County Donegal and instituted The System. Instead of the manly men of the County duking it out in man to man defense followed by hard knocks offense. All 15 players will play hard Zone defense and just smoother the other teams chances to score like a tard baby in Ancient Rome. On Offense nothing but passing back and forth no attack whatsoever unless you are guaranteed a score. Then and only then will you press on hard on attack. RTE pundit Pat Spillane called it "Shiite Football" and called for Jim McGuiness to be tried in the Hague for crimes against Gaelic Football the basest thing ever said on Irish Telly. Donegal would win using the System in 2012 however Dublin would go on to dominate the 2010's wining a total of 8 Championships using a bastardized version of the System which involved even less attacking.

Now I just explained what The System is in two paragraphs to an audience who didn't even now this Sport existed. Let's see what the combined forces of woke nerd could do. Well in 1318 words and 26 citations at no point does the Wikipedia article explain what The System is. Despite linking to an article that explains how the System works. Wikipedia is so up it's own ass with the no original research that all the writers could do is endlessly quote reactions of journos and players. The worst part is on the Talk page someone begged for changes in 2015. How does a know it all Bureaucracy fuck up so bad that an article doesn't explain something so simple for over a decade.

The First Source doesn't even link to the white terrier it links to the Red Terror and the white tarot is not a real thing the killings by the white Army were mainly Communists and other traders to the Russian government
And seeing how the Red Army was made up of non-elected members of parliament to overthrow the liberal democratically elected government
But that's not even the funniest part some of the sources are literally the great it's Soviet encyclopedia

The first source is for the statement "The Red Terror started a year after the initial White Terror in early September 1918" and the cited article (although about the Red Terror) does say that the White Terror started in 1918. To be sure, the article says "early 1918" rather than "early September 1918" which is not the same. It's commonplace for Wikipedia to cite a whole article on a tangential topic simply for one fact contained therein.

The intro goes on to call the White Terror anti-Semitic.

But that's not even the funniest part some of the sources are literally the great it's Soviet encyclopedia
Only one citation is to the Great Soviet Encyclopedia, which however is one citation too many.

The White Terror is real even Pyortr Wrangle alludes to the massacres in his memoirs, and if I am remembering things correctly even partially blames them for the Whites losing.

The photo was taken in October 2004, almost 20 years ago.

I like this, but this is the Dumb Shit on Wikipedia thread, not the Adorable Shit on Wikipedia thread. I shouldn't complain though. That's just so cute.
Some polish genderspecial has an english wikipedia article for some reason (while not having one in polish).
Pollacks don't cotton to that shit so much.

Because look at the retards in the bureaucracy.

It's people like Molly White. Bizarre troons. Just generally severely mentally ill nonfunctional defective people.

And if you show up with actual qualifications in a field? BANHAMMER! Like John Updike apparently not being a reliable source about his own novels. That's the level of stupid Wikipedo operates on.

Know Your Meme offers a more neutral and better researched overview of GamerGate than Wikipedia. Like, straight up complete and total BTFO of wikipedia's version. It's insane.

Probably because the people at KYM actually care about memes and need the info to be accurate for better meme making and enjoying, while Wikipedia are propagandists.

Their "encyclopedic" articles about GooberGrape are so insanely bad, so full of outright lies, that it really discredits the entire thing. How was stuff this bad, entirely un-encyclopedic, objectively inaccuracte, even allowed to exist?

We really ought to step our game Noj Rants is doing our job for us lol, plus he talks about the talk pages.

God damn it I'm swearing off phone posting, here's the correct video

So another case of infobox ascetics autism? That's the thing I hate the most about Wikipedia (beyond the fact that it exists), one guy will randomly go around changing election infoboxes simply because he has the time. This should be a site wide rule for all elections, not the whim of one asshole.
