White Europeans who have been in Europe for thousands of years are not "indigenous" to Europe, but gypsies that got kicked out of India or raping and looting too much and made it to Europe a few hundred years ago are. 🤡
Or the Laplanders who pushed the bronze age Norse out of the northern reaches of Scandinavia are indigenous but the Norse aren't.

The Bashkirs, whose migration is a recorded event, are indigenous?
"Pelasgians" are Atlantean tier also, this list just appears to be "prison of nations" anti-rusky agitprop.

The Bashkirs or Bashkurts (Bashkir: Башҡорттар, romanized: Başqorttar, IPA: [bɑʂ.qʊɾt.ˈtaɾ]; Russian: Башкиры, pronounced [bɐʂˈkʲirɨ]) are a Kipchak-Bulgar[21] Turkic ethnic group indigenous to Russia.
Wikipedia says they are indigenous so they are.

I'm shocked it doesn't include all the Siberian tribes the Russians conquered in the 1700s in this list, despite their populations never reaching more than probably 10,000 on average.

She got "checkuser" blocked after the block for transphobia. AFAIK, though I could be wrong, this means that she was a sock account of a previous account that was banned, and they only checked it after she was banned for the first thing.

Sockpuppets are actually pretty easy to get away with apparently. A previously banned admin named Icewhiz made another account and almost became an admin again on their second account.
Wikipedia admins often falsely claim that someone failed checkuser when they simply want that user gone. Notice that they refused to say who, exactly, she was a sockpuppet of.

Try land acknowledgments in the states sometime the area of Toronto changed hands 3 times before being conquered by Europeans and the only people who get acknowledged are the last Indians to live their.

That would be the indigenous peoples of Asia.

here's a really good article on how retarded the idea of indigenous peoples are.

You're indigenous if your people have no reliable records of how they got to where they are now. Or if you're not white. If you're not white, you're automatically native to wherever you are, as I am reliably told that the Guatemalans who have migrated to California are actually indigenous to the region, due to both Guatemala and California having once been part of the same administrative domain in the Spanish Empire.

I remember a friend of mine once said that in order to be considered "indigenous" you have to historically suck.

It's all just anti-whitism. Don't try and argue or understand. Just recognise it for what it is and ignore.

Is anyone else annoyed by Wikipedia’s insistence on using IPA for pronunciation that nobody can read?
Learn it - it's not difficult, and far better than any alternative.

I once had a linguistics book that said the letter O in the language was "pronounced as in 'holy', and definitely not as in 'wholly'". I've still no idea what they meant by that.

I can see the argument that gypsies are indigenous to Europe, because European gypsies are a distinct cultural and ethnic group from Middle Eastern gypsies or the original gypsies who still live in India on the fringe of society there. They emerged in Europe, they adopted elements from cultures around them like Christianity (like the "gypsies made fake nails for Jesus's crucifixion" story).

But then you have to extend the same logic to the Boers, white Australians, white Americans, white Canadians (both Anglo and French), etc. Or even African Americans for that matter. Cletus and Jamal are both as indigenous to America as Chief Drinksalot is. The far-left would never go for that, so it'll never be reflected on Wikipedia.

Well, he self-identifies as autistic and mentally ill, so I can't imagine that it would take very much to make him paranoid. Like I said before, I legitimately think that this tard could easily be our next great lolcow. On his own userpage, he describes himself as "a leftist commie POS" and "a mentally ill child", says that he "wants to turn America into a GAY COMMUNIST ANIME", and names his multiple waifus.

Here's a recap of the original drama that first led me to this gem of an individual:

I legit raged when I saw it, and I raged even harder when I looked at the tard responsible for getting this person banned. We seriously need to take Wikipedia back from these troons/autists.

This thread makes me sad. There's so much juicy behind the scenes Wikipedia drama and none of it is covered here. I expect better from the Kiwi Farms. Thought you guys were supposed to be the forefront of internet drama? You have no idea how far the rot goes.

People tend to assume that you can only figure out their drama through editing but that isn't the case. Once you learn to see past their constant acronym spamming it's easy to figure out what's going on especially since through all these noticeboard archives you can trace their corruption. I've never edited but I stalk the behind the scenes pages so I know what psyops they're engaging in and who.

But for the uninitiated I would recommend checking the administrator's noticeboard. Really, any of the noticeboards provide up to date information on the goings on. Especially the "fringe" noticeboard. However, by far the most dramatic is ANI, or "Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents", which is theoretically for "intractable behavioral problems" but is in practice the drama board of Wikipedia. The Wikipedia discord server also has tons of high ranking sysops and is open to join without an editing account for at least most of the channels. And nothing from Wikipediocracy? It masquerades as being a Wikipedia criticism site, but in reality is mostly full of editors whining at one another.

This thread only includes what some Farmer decides to write about. However, while most posts are about article content, I have seen plenty here about biased and unhinged admin actions, Wikimedia Foundation entryism and funding, and other such "behind the scenes" topics.

There are a handful of posts about Wikipediocracy. Use Search.

But go ahead and be the change you want to see in this thread. If you've found some juicy stuff in AN/I and Discord, please share it here.
