Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

Obligatory link to the thread on where all that money goes:
So SJWs of Wikipedia are against scientific objectivity and favor bias, yet SJWs claim you need to "trust the science"?

Also, I miss the Wikipedia of the '00s. Like YouTube, Wiki was ran better then.

Rest goes to DEI programs.
So fraud, basically.
The same way any other leftist project has always worked.
Current Year really needs to end, and should never have begun.

Wikipedia articles of chemicals suck. I don't care if the 'murican state of New Chookigooweeia or the yurocommie Union considers it "toxic" or "carcinogenic", I can look that up Google. I want to know when the chemical substance was discovered and what was it first used for. I want to read about its reactions. Wikipedia again fails to be an encyclopedia. It's all "The American govt says it toxic so it's toxic".
A court in India has ordered Wikipedia to take down an article from the entire Internet.
Wikipedia has compiled:
View attachment 6564147

The history is also suppressed.

Here is what the article looked like prior to censorship: https://archive.ph/dNTEl

As I understand, ANI is basically a propaganda "news" front for India's ruling BJP, and they sued Wikipedia for defamation for (accurately) relating these facts in the article.

The court also ordered Wikipedia to turn over the identity of editors of the article, so they can be individually sued.

Yes, India is even more corrupt than Wikipedia.
Extremely rare India W

This is why paper is more important than ever. Look at the people currently in charge of our fake "encyclopedias." They will replace actual history with their cucked zoomer opinions given any possible chance. Paper is very important, and must be protected, with lead if necessary.
I will fucking convert to The Worship of Khorne before I let these parasites take my paper.
Paper for the Blood God!
Books for the Blood Throne!

Hmm...awfully suspicious to pull this out before election day.

If you want some laughs Nigerian Wikipedia is in English but Nigerians legitimately believe magic is a 100% real thing so they literally have articles of magic and magical groups written 100% in a series tone

Decent chance I'm retarded and/or need new glasses but I can't seem to find the Nigerian Wikipedia. ng.wikipedia.org leads to "The Ndonga Wikipedia" and google/ddg/bing isn't helping either. Got a URL handy?

Why not just link to where this was first written (I'm presuming it was written first on Kiwifarms in the thread bellow)? You even posted in that thread, so it was in your browser history probably.

The next time Wikipedia asks for a donation, ignore it | Page 3 | Kiwi Farms

That man's post was gorgeous by the way. It shadowed, bested OP, and is worthy of it's own thread. Best thing I've read all week. A aftertaste of cynical enlightenment. Reminder to question everything that human greed may touch. I wanted to bump that thread but I decided against it in fear that it be necromancy.

So fraud, basically.
I think it's more aptly embezzlement, almost the dictionary definition of using funds entrusted to one to be used for one purpose, but it's instead used for another. Even worse how it's going to fuel America's raging culture wars.

Their arses at the Wikimedia foundation are definitely covered legally about this. It feeds off the ignorance of honest men using Wikipedia. Tsk.

I don't understand why this is such a popular quote in this thread when it was made by a no-name IP editor.
Legit. It's popular because it makes Wikipedia editors seem like lunatics or people that have such an advanced mentality of feels-over-realz. It's a funny image in my head, and I know that there are people on this Earth that are whisked away by their own feelings so strongly that it's like they are an extraterrestrial intelligence.

But legit that you pointed out it was made possibly by a troll. I would have put this quote into the bank if you hadn't pointed it that fact out because I was delighted at how wacky it was.

Wtf? There's literal hardcore pornography in one of the sub-categories
Third image. Wikipedia is fucking disgusting
The hyperlink is to wikimedia dot org. As far as I just learned that is this disgusting Wikimedia foundation which is the parent company and distinct from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is kind of like that boy (or infant factory workers) in Oliver Twist and the Wikimedia foundation is that factory owner feeding his workers gruel.

It's more that they're politically covered, much like the Red Cross when it similarly fraudulently raises money under false pretenses for one purpose with no intention of ever actually using it for that. A lot of people, if they knew the RC or the WMF had zero intention of ever using the money for its purpose, would never donate in the first place.

If you or I did this, we'd get in trouble.

It was not first written in that Kiwi Farms thread, as witnessed by the fact that the post there is dated three days after the Twitter thread. That post copied the thread over from Twitter, and indeed links to the original at the top of the post. Also, I did not post in that thread, and even if I read it, it was two years ago so don't recall it.

I know I'm pretty deep into the wiki rabbithole, but Wikipedia has a rule that it isn't a hosting site, so what is the function of +400 pictures of barefoot naked women not used in any article, explain it to me. Is it the wiki exhibitionists again?
It's Wikimedia Commons. Anyone can upload anything as long as it's freely licensed (and not illegal).
