Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

I found there page for christian film industry, when it comes to mainstream christian movies a little weird. They say films such as Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments, The Robe and The Passion of Christ are not considered part of the christian film industry. "And said their more agnostic about their audience religious beliefs." Like what? Those movies are based directly from the Bible. How are they agnostic to their audience?
Yeah sure, they are made my mainstream Hollywood. But the first three are movies were made in a time, where those movies weren't out of the ordinary.

The passion of Christ may be made by a mainstream stuido company. But Mel Gibson and Jim Caviezel are both christian conservatives. You would think Wikipedia would consider it being part of the christian film industry because of that.

Just found it weird
The article is likely written by of those radical sort of Pentecostals or Born Again types who either do not consider Catholics properly Christian or at least don't consider their work adds to the state of the art of Christian films.

Or by atheists who want to make sure that only films they hate are listed in this category.

I found that the two biggest users were AmericanEagle (once AmericaNeedsJesus) and J.S. Clingman, both uber-Protestants who worked on it as an expression of faith. I think that @UnimportantFarmer is right on the money.

That's an article specifically about the Christian film industry, not Christian movies in general.

Compare Ben-Hur or the Narnia movies to anything starring Kirk Cameron like Left Behind or Fireproof and notice how the latter is beating you over the head with "believe in Jesus" messages and the former isn't. Or compare Dreamworks The Prince of Egypt to a more explicitly Christian adaption of Moses's story, like direct-to-video stuff you'd show to kids in Sunday school. The difference is more than quality since the Christian movies will try and slip in references to Jesus even in Old Testament stuff.

Mel Gibson's Passion is possibly the best movie about the Crucifixion that's ever been made, and he self-funded it as a way of teaching Christ's story to people. You'd think it would qualify lol.

The sort of films listed are goofy. Given how Mel Gibson has aimed his output at this Christian market while retaining professional standards, suggests some sort of neck beard Federal gay ops too.

The Christian film industry is an umbrella term for films containing a Christian themed message or moral, produced by Christian filmmakers to a Christian audience, and films produced by non-Christians with Christian audiences in mind.
Definitely needs a By Whom? right there. They're pulling definitions out of ass.

That's what i mean. The movie is considered the best christian movie of all time by many christians and catholics alike

And it's not like the movie was made by someone who was just baking it in for the money as I said before Mel and Jim Caviezel who played Jesus are both men of faith.

Yeah it had higher production values. That's becuase Mel Gibson has plenty of fuck you money, that he was able to afford it. But the project was ironically his passion project. So yeah I was shocked when they said it wasn't considered part of the christian film industry.

Most likely

Edited: it's like saying the show Touched by an Angel is not really a faith based show becuase it aired on a regular TV channel despite the creator and the main lead actresses being devoted Christians.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_ship said:
The capital ships of a navy are its most important warships; they are generally the larger ships when compared to other warships in their respective fleet. A capital ship is generally a leading or a primary ship in a naval fleet.[1]

William S. Lind, in the book America Can Win (p. 90), defines a capital ship as follows: "These characteristics define a capital ship: if the capital ships are beaten, the navy is beaten. But if the rest of the navy is beaten, the capital ships can still operate. Another characteristic that defines capital ships is that their main opponent is each other."
Huh that's a familiar name, let's click and-yup it's him. Victoria must be seriously shameful to him given how far down it is on the article. Also, does this person's opinion actually matter? If I knew shit about capital ships I wouldn't be reading about them on wikipedia.

So much BS on that list. Mark McCloskey wtf is an "accused criminal"? Every conservative comedian or commentator is a political activist I guess.

And I thought it was clear by now that Sandmann didn't "confront" anyone.

He was literally just standing there when that drunken redskin grifter walked up to him and started banging a drum in his face.
