So if he claims that he earns so much as streamer, why not self fund a small study and then pitch it to labs based on results of said project?

Mild PL here I guess, but I graduated in a close field in a similar calibre university at around the same time as Dunce Macleod up there and every last one of my classmates who wanted to do a PhD got on one fully funded with stipend, because there is funding for science grads in the UK. I think one or two had to take an extra year to do a masters because they didn't quite make the grade at undergrad, but they did it and got their PhD place.

Either he didn't graduate or he did terribly and was too lazy to do a masters to top up his grades/knowledge or his final year project supervisor thought he was too much of an insufferable prick to give him a good recommendation.

For the record, I don't work in the field/subject I graduated in and I would never refer to myself as any type of scientist because I'm not and neither is he. It's just his weak appeal to authority when he's failing at a debate. Same goes for when he starts up with "my uncle says this" and "my daddy says that". He's no more a geneticist than I am, and neither his nearly decade old degree (if he even has one) nor his relatives' professions make any difference to that.

Duncan has achieved nothing of note in his life. Even his house that he likes to brag about was probably paid for by his far more successful mummy and daddy. He's just a loser with a dwindling audience. If it turns out his wife really is into lolicon then I don't see how this guy is even above Ralph levels of pathetic. At least Ralph is entertaining.

From what I know (secondhand info from a single friend with the undergrad degree... he farms now instead) there used to be lots of money in it working as a lab tech, but with CRISPR being invented, anything below Ph. D. Gets you jack shit now.
