Dunkaroos coming back this summer - Only '90s kids and so forth (just the ones with the vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles so far, though)

I was in high school when these things were introduced. Never tried them. I wish they'd re-introduce some discontinued 1980s stuff, although since it's been so long, the quality may not be the same as it was (due to cheaping out)

Here was one of my school lunch favorites:

Plain cookies packaged with plain frosting and plain sprinkles. Yeah, that sounds worth the hype.
Also, wtf only the vanilla ones? Chocolate was so much better, and I say that despite generally preferring vanilla as a flavor.

They'll probably bring back the chocolate frosting if the vanilla ones sell well enough (kind of like how Oreo O's were initially brought back without the marshmallows and then they started selling the ones with them later on). But maybe that's just my optimism speaking for me.

And across the country, a rousing choir of nasally autistic voices rose in unison, mouths agape in soyful jubilation as they sang their praises...

"CONSOOME PRODUCT!!!!!"

My fat ass is READY, now all we need is the TMNT pudding pies.
fuck you for reminding me of those
The pies are under a different company and branding, JJ's Bakery is the company that makes them. They have fruit and pudding varieties. The pies themselves now come frozen and you have to heat them up for like 30 seconds. They taste just like the OG Hostess ones before they changed the recipe.

Now bring back ecto cooler!
This will probably happen closer to the new Ghostbusters movie. if new Coke can be revived for a stupid Netflix show then certainly Ecto Cooler can.

I forgot about this shit and didn't know they were discontinued, but then I remember Yan Yans exist, and have been on the market years before and available in mainstream supermarkets.

I still remember those summer afternoons watching Nickelodeon on TV in the living room, with a stack of clone saga Spiderman comics on side of the couch and Jurassic Park and star wars toys on the other. When my grandma would walk in and set a pack of dunkaroos and a pouch of Capri sun on the coffee table for me. Then she'd Pat my head and smile and tell me it brightens up her day seeing me in her apartment...miss my grandma so much :'(
