During trips and visits, is lack of an internet connection a good thing or a pain in the ass for you?

depends. if you are talking about a trip to somewhere as in vacation i think it is mostly good. the only downside is maybe not being able to look up some destination or restaurant while there if you didnt autistically plan out everything in advance.

i think the lack of internet forces you to spend more time touching grass on trips.

I try to ignore the internet as much as possible when on trips and vacations. BUT it can be very useful. Id like to have a connection. If I go visit family, I keep my phone and laptop off and away but they are always impressed when I can find a specific movie for them to watch or put on a dumb game for them, lol. It's kinda cute. I only bring my laptop just in case it comes in handy for group entertainment. If I were travelling for more of a vacation I dont think I would ever bring my laptop, and always download maps/music/podcasts on my phone so I dont need the internet
