Reviews are coming out, saying game play and movement is as fun as the first game, city looks great to move around in, the choices really don't matter in the story (of course), and the MC is boring AF. And bugs. A shit ton of Bugs.
So give it a month for patches/Devno removal/small discount.
It's good, if you enjoyed the first game it's more or less and extension of it but with better Parkour and combat.
Story sucks balls, but everyone should have expected that after Avellone pussied out.
Protag is lame as fuck and so are his gay friends.
I'll also mention that there is this cunty immunity counter where if you are in darkness too long you will turn into an infected. Really drags the game down at certain points. But you are generally able to effectively ignore it most of the time.
Playing at night generally sucks as Aiden is a fucking pussy who barely has an stamina. Again, not hard to increase over time but when you first start the game it's easy to get dissuaded.
can't rebind mouse buttons and runs like ass on low end graphics.. depth of field can't be turned off and protag is literally crane's voice..
i felt that this would be a cyberpunk situation but I didn't want to believe. my friend gifted me DL2 so I lost no money but I lost hope for modern games. (back 4 blood, dying light 2, new saints row, king of fighters XV, etc..)
Game looks okay from what i've seen, but it looks very... unorganic, i guess ? Like the map is made of random shit cobbled together with little to no coherency. And there's a lot of wonky shit like the windmills
The parkour looks fun, but the combat reminds me too much of fallout 4. And I fucking hated the melee combat in that game. Also heard of a lot of bugs. Yikes.
The night just isn't scary like DL1. Only interactions I have had with Volatiles is being in a GRE thing and going into a different floor, proceeding to get two-shot at once by two Volatiles at 8 AM.
Also, I played Cyberpunk at release on Series X, this is the buggiest game I have played in my lifetime.
I really haven't experienced much in the way of bugs. The mod "I am Legion" got a released for DL2 so that might just make the nights actually more interesting. Volatiles at the point where I am really seem like a null factor and I've only seen 4 and thats because Tram station during the day.
