E;R appreciation thread

His shitting on Rian Johnson really makes me wonder if his script for Breaking Bad episodes didn’t get heavily edited by better writers and he got his name on it solely because he let’s some producer pound him in the ass.

Johnson really just writes shit that’s annoying more than just bad. It’s like someone’s holding his hand and he fucks it up intentionally because he’s think it’d be better if he did something retarded. It’s like Ralph flying to Portugal to dunk on Warski.

Glass Onion would’ve been a better who dunnit comedy if the Elon Musk stand-in never actually killed anybody. It literally was him retardly fumbled his way into unintentionally and unknowingly killing off people who were threats to him due to people misreading him.
I have no clue if the main detective is supposed to be a fumbling retard or not because the movie is bad. I don’t know if it’s just because it seems competent in it’s cinematography and the actors all feel like retards.

That's the thing, he didn't write for Breaking Bad. He only directed a few episodes.

I thought he supposedly helped write a few. Regardless, I don’t care for him as a director. He seems technically competent, but it’s in a way that’s bland to me. It’s not bad because he lacks skill, but it feels like he’s a retard.
I never understood why people liked his stuff, even Looper just felt like a made for TV movie for the modern day.

To make a food allegory, it’s like he’s made a beautiful looking plate of food, however, when you start eating you realize that the meat is raw, he’s put cooked rice on top of uncooked rice, he only oiled the vegetables, and the utensils bend under the slightest pressure.
I can’t even turn my brain off with his shit, it’s just aggressively mediocre.

It's a collaborative process, so it's entirely possible he changed or added to the script as they shot the episode but the credited writers are long-time series regulars, so I'd wager their input mattered more.
 
I discovered E;R either because of his Disney Star Wars or Steven Universe videos. I liked his humour and critiques. Then I forgot about his channel until he took down some videos due to the all the press from being mentioned by Pewdiepie and now I check on his channel to see if he uploads a new video.

The exact same article, except with a different surname and instead of american italian it says he was born in mexico from an italian family with various minor details changed. Also, all instances of Bay-leaf are swapped with "Codona".

Am I missing something? What is happening here?

It seems to be a joke and the page is edited since he's talking about disbelief. The giveaway is that Wiki titles don't appear to be that dark unless my vision's wrong.

Started watching his stuff after discovering this thread a couple of days ago, dude's hilarious. Watched the Death Note videos, Life is Strange and the Watchmen one so far and they all were highly entertaining. I can't believe what they did to Death Note and the Watchmen show looked like something out of a /tv/ x /pol/ greentext.

Huh, yeah, I see the original was 30 seconds longer. I don't have the original, but I can tell you he must've edited it fairly soon after the original upload, because my copy was grabbed 2/12/2018 according to the file properties
 
Does anyone have that image of little kid E;R pointing at a TV and saying "I don't like it"? I remember it got turned into an exploitable in the replies of his Twitter, but I can't find it now.

He was nearly correct about the Gems as Steeple; I enjoyed his In-character Tumblr blog
Don't forget, he had a cutie patootie girlfriend. He's manlier than Lars and Steven combined and eh's not afraid of anything. I still don't like the scene where the Crystal Gems beat him. At least Ronaldo survived. He's a Chad without realizing it.

Hell half the bad guys in the show have reasons for doing what they do. Take Bismuth. It's fucking war Steven, you need to shatter your enemy's so they don't keep coming back! If anything stopping her during the war probably caused more death long term, since homeworld gems could just respawn.

E;R and EZ PZ were right: Steven Quartz Universe is retarded; I thought that training was supposed to have been drilled into his thick skull when the three lesbian Crystal Gems don't baby him in the episode where he demands a challenging obstacle course. At least the protagonist had a very good and justified chimpout.

I don’t remember where I discovered him but I been watching his stuff for about 6 years now. He’s consistently good, I’m especially a fan of his editing and humor. I think he doesn’t like most western media at all (with the exception of Avatar). Surprised he gave a shoutout to Agatha Christie’s books because they aren’t mangas with big titty waifus in them.


Anyways my fav video was his Steven Universe review but it seems to have been deleted.
