They seem to be focusing on television for the Xbone a lot more. Quite a lot of the press conferences on the Xbox one are related to how you can watch sports on it.

You can sorta see where Microsoft's long-term plan with the Xbox One is headed, and why they've suddenly gotten more chummy with PC.
 
I just hope Halo's Master Chief collection hits Steam.
 
I'm rather late to the party. I hadn't been paying much attention to E3, but I did hear of the announcement of the new Star Fox game just today.
 
My last console was a ps1 Adjusts hipster glasses And I honestly can't tell the difference between pstriple and psquadruple games

Yeah, graphics became less and less relevant with each passing generation. 5th to 6th (PS1 to PS2) was huge, 4th to 5th was even bigger (3D!!), 3rd to 4th (16-bit!) was big...the problem is that consoles evolved to stripped-down, locked-up gaming PCs, and that's what's killing them. If they took out extra features to make them solely on games, then they'd probably do better...

Microsoft hasn't given a rat's ass about PC since 2004. People have been asking for the Halo games on PC for years, and Microsoft the closest that Microsoft came was with Spartan Assault. They're not gonna care again until they stop making consoles.

As much as I love Borderlands, I feel like they're running the franchise into the ground. I mean, there's two Borderlands games in production right now.

Yeah by two different studios. Telltale and Gearbox are two very different entities with their own teams, styles, and budgets.

Yeah, I like Telltale games (I only got around to the newest ones, like The Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us, but I did buy all of the Sam & Max series).

I don't want any games mentioned on E3 except GTA V and Dead Rising 3, both on PC, and I don't have the rig to play them as of now. I will probably stick to hoping the next episode of The Walking Dead Season 2 will be good (the third one was alright, but felt a bit weak.) and play the games I bought on the last Steam Winter Sale.

I'm an old man so I still remember the days when the playstation was the cool new thing and I was being a hip grown-up for getting one.

And you can't tell the difference between PS3 and PS4 because there isn't one. There isn't a single game yet that takes advantage of what the 8th gen can do.

It's not their fault, it's Microsoft. Microsoft won't ever bring Halo to PC again because then what would be the point of buying an Xbox?

I only realized the Wii U was the new Nintendo console like 2 months ago and I'm like a "fringe" gamer, I know a thing or two about vidya but I'm miles away from being a true gamer :neckbeard: If a guy like me who isn't super versed in vidya didn't knew a new Nintendo console came out until 2 months ago then the general public (The people I'm guessing bought the Wii in droves) probably think the Wii U is like an internet joke :story:

The general public thinks the Wii U is an add on/re-release of the Wii. It's due to Nintendo's shitty marketing.
