I keep seeing people saying "broken buck". I assume this is new internet slang or a reference I don't know.

Making a shitty PS1 looking horror indie game is one thing, being as revolutionary as silent hill was on an indie budget is near impossible.
This will get me a bunch of negative stickers from SH fanboys, but as someone who remembers those games at release, the SH games were never as revolutionary as the modern fanbase makes them out to be.

Now, this could be because I've always felt SH2 was overrated, and SH1s plot was nonsense, or it could the effect of being in the UK, but Earthbound was an obscure game that only appeared in gaming magazines or the occasional gaming nerd, only to get a ravenous fanbase of hipsters post internet. In the same way, Silent Hill 2 was hyped up at the time, but it was yet another horror game in a sea of RE clones of the era. It wasn't until years later that it became this beast fuelled by obsessive fans and analysis videos.

You can't do a clever plot twist like SH2 did because people already expect and demand it.

Went downhill after Vegas.
Vegas 2 was a co-op staple, and leveling up was fun, even though people don't like it these days.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is likely canceled, so they don’t have anything I want.
Why? Wasn't it completely pozzed and had nothing to do with the original aside from the name?

There's supposedly a Devolver thing in a few minutes.

I wouldn't give a shit, if the games looked interesting or fun.

But they didn't, so...

Ubisoft got in trouble not too long ago, so they're probably trying to over compensate.

Another garbage stream full of garbage looking games, what was with both this and Summer Games fest trying to promote fuckin' literal movies?

Mario Rabbids was the only game that looked interesting, the villain looks neat and they seem to be changing up the combat a bit. The first Mario Rabbids was surprisingly good so I hope this one isn't dissapointing.

>Avatar game
The resources to fix The Division 2 died for this...

I'm only interested if I can play humans BTFO'ing the natives just like my ancestors did.
I think Massive didn't want to work on The Division anymore.

Ubisoft has always been a good substitute for NyQuil.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is likely canceled, so they don’t have anything I want.
Good. They would have probably butchered the BG&E universe.

cant watch this Ubisoft shit. fucking Asians, Arabs and fat women everywhere.

I look at all of these devs and even the people doing the pre/after shows for the streams and i just don't see how in the fuck they could possibly know anything about videogames based on how they talk about them.

Plus, they are pumped about literally everything.
