The majority of the games on these ROM sites are A. decades old B. hard-to-find and C. expensive. And not a cent is going to the original developers. It takes some effort but I usually get retro stuff cheap if I just peruse ebay for a week and find some deals. Sellers who sell Lots I've had the most luck with, where I bought whole series for less than the cost of a single installment.

It might just be about a failed actor whose screenplays were turned down and that game is either her seething about it in videogame form or someone writing about how stunning and brave she is.
