I still don’t understand the desire these people have trying to keep this thing running, but least it’s enjoyable to watch them fail lol.
The problem I think is everybody remembers the old e3's that were good, but forgets that games take far too long to make now days. There's not enough content and stuff to make e3's interesting anymore.

I mean really, what's the point of watching a bunch of telemarkers who dont know how to show basic emotion talk for hours on end before geting brief trailers we could just google? There's no excitement or balls in the gaming media world anymore.

you could do an indie show, the pc gaming a few years back basically did that - bring in some devs, let them talk about the game, ask them some fitting questions and banter, then show off the trailer while it gets put up on steam. repeat that a few times over the course of the show, and it would be more interesting than bullshots: the slideshow.

kinda like what dorito pope did before he went full corporate trying to be the academy awards for video games...

The E3s that were good involved big, elaborate displays, "booth babes", and often new technology. Games were going to look more impressive by the year.

Nowadays, the booth babes have been exiled as they'd be considered too sexist, the impressive displays have gone away for basically auditoriums, and technology has flat-lined.

A common trend is to bring e-celebs on...and that's a problem of its own. I will admit several years ago (2018 I believe) some guy almost said "my nigga" before catching himself mid-word.
