This fucking shit is so god damn delicious and takes next to no effort.

Ingredients:
1 package of broccolini (200g)
1 chunk of halloumi cheese (200g)
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
Olive oil
Salt & pepper

Preparation:
Heat two pans to medium heat.
Add olive oil to both.
Cut halloumi into 5mm or 1/5th of an inch thick slices.
Throw broccolini on a pan with garlic (minced, crushed, whole, whatever).
Put halloumi on the other.
Fry broccolini until it starts browning and softening (you want to retain some snap and texture, and not burn the garlic). Add salt and pepper.
Fry halloumi until it starts browning, then flip and repeat.
Place both onto the same plate.
Eat.

I suppose if you had a big enough pan you could easily just use one.

If you fry them too little it really makes no difference as they're all edible and tasty even when raw. The most important thing is not to burn anything.

Enjoy.

I like this Instant Pot pasta with goat cheese sauce, though I always put in way more basil than the recipe calls for. It also tastes pretty good without the cheese if you want to leave out those calories. Takes literally like 20 minutes to prepare.

"Use two pans"
I thought you said this would be easy? :(
yeah easy is more "dump shit into a thing, heat it, nom"
like instapot stuff

Feel free to post recipes. The one I posted takes 10 minutes from start to finish, which is why I find it very quick and easy (and washing a pan takes what, 5 seconds with a brush and dish soap?)

You can use one pan if you want, the temperature is the same for each. I just don't have a pan with enough surface area for both the ingredients.

Like I said, none of the ingredients actually need to be cooked, so using just one pan would surely result in an edible meal. In fact, just to test it out and report the results I'll cook it with just one pan next time (I already have the necessary ingredients in my refrigerator).

Looks good! I would definitely want the cheese, though.

Cut eggplants in thin slices, drizzle oil and herbs on them and cook them until tender. Add pizza sauce, cheese, tomato slices and any other shit you like. Cook again to melt the cheese. It goes great with blue cheese. You can eat them with toast and make your own eggplant ""pizza""

Shakshuka:

Set the oven to a medium temp (around 350f/175c)

Chop some garlic, onions, and bell pepper (or use frozen peppers and onions and jarred garlic if you're really lazy)

Heat some olive oil in an oven safe or cast iron pan until it starts sizzling, saute the peppers and onions until they're soft and the onions are turning yellow, add garlic and saute for a few seconds. If you want, add some harissa or sambal oelek to make it spicier.

Add in a can of crushed tomatoes, oregano or thyme, crushed red pepper, cumin, and paprika. If you have some wine on hand, a splash is good too, either red or white works. Let it come to a boil and let that shit simmer for 10-15 minutes. Taste it and see if it needs some salt, pepper or a pinch of sugar. Turn off the stove, crack some eggs on top, shake a tiny bit of salt over the eggs, and put it in the oven for 5-10 minutes until the egg whites become firm, leave it in longer if you don't like runny yolks. Top everything with some chopped parsley, scallions, basil or cilantro. Feta or zaatar is also nice on top.

I'm never hungry first thing in the morning, so I usually eat my breakfast at work. When it's cold and I want hot breakfast I make veggie scrambled eggs.

Crack an egg in a bowl
Toss in some defrosted veg (I take some out the night before) usually heavy on the broccoli
and/or add leftovers from last night's dinner.
Maybe some cheese?
Microwave 30 seconds
Stir
Microwave 20 seconds
Stir
Repeat until desired cooked-ness
Top with hotsauce
Eat.

Pound and a half of diced chicken, raw or from frozen, cook until no pukey.
Add a bit of milk or cream, couple of ounces, figure it out lazy asshole.
Add cheap 8oz block of cream cheese with milk, stir in with chicken until smooth.
Add frozen broccoli cuts, stir.
If not keto, add mix veggies of your choice in place of broc.
Cover, cook until veggies are warm.
Add shredded cheese over the top, cover, turn off heat.
Serve when cheese is melted.

Let the complaining retards you're cooking for add salt and/or pepper to their taste.

If you can't figure out the temp to cook at don't bother me, just post on social media that you have evidence of crimes committed by the Clintons.

EnemyStand's Classic Lite Linguini:
Boil water in a pot and salt.
Drop in your pasta of choice, usually linguini for me.
When the pasta is done (about 11 minutes, 10 if you want al dente) drain.
Grab a pan, put in a large drizzle of olive oil. Use a low temperature.
Add pasta, oregano, crushed red pepper, basil, and a clove of crushed garlic. Toss until aromatic.
To add richness and be fat, add a dollop of sour cream (this is how Olive Garden does it).
Finish with a spritz of lemon (about a quarter of a whole lemon), a little more tossing, and eat. A simple meal great for the warmer months.

I'm pretty sure I have posted all of these elsewhere on the forum but they're all good and easy enough to make while tired as crap.

Cut up whatever veggies you want, I usually pick carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, brussles sprouts (make sure to halve these so the sulpher taste leaves while cooking, they'll be delicious, I swear) squash, etc. Fill up a rimmed baking pan and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss them to coat, and if you want some protein add on some pre-cooked meatballs or sausage. on top.
Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes, tossing occasionally unless you're like me and forget to do that. Serve with random sauces you have in the fridge.

Chop up a big head of broccoli, toss it in a rimmed baking pan with some oil and roast at 450 F for 20-25 minutes. Once done, toss it with a little more oil, lemon juice, and sea salt. Best broccoli you'll ever have, perfect with some pan-seared chicken or fish.

I like to cook cod by seasoning both sides with whatever pairs best with the whole meal- sometimes I'll use thyme and dill with lemon juice and other times I'll use chili powder and cumin. Heat your pan up with a bit of oil and once ready, slap the fish in and let it sit unmolested for 5 minutes or so, based on the thickness of the fish. Flip and repeat on the other side. The fish will lose its transparency and become more opaque as it cooks. Serve with the broccoli and rice, or in tortillas with salsa paired with rice and beans of the side.

You do not have to be a beer drinker to enjoy this, I don't care for stout at all but it makes for fantastic bread.
Combine 2 1/2 c flour, 1 tsp salt, 2 1/2 tsp baking powder, 2 tbsp sugar, then pour in 12 oz of beer. Drink any remaining beer in the bottle. You can add in shredded cheese and herbs at this point as well. Pour into a little bread pan and pour a lot of melted butter on top. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes and serve with more butter.

1 c pureed pumpkin, 1/2 cup of sliced frozen 'nanners, 16 oz of milk, a very slight amount of honey, and a few shakes of pumpkin spice if you're in to that sort of thing. Blend that sannafabeech until smooth.

My other favorite smoothie is 1 c sliced frozen bananas, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 16 oz milk, and a hearty dollop of peanut butter. Blend it up and drink while flexing.

Much better than it sounds. Cook up some frozen fish fillets according to the box instructions. Meanwhile, prepare some rice, roasted corn (Trader Joe's has it in a frozen bag), black beans, and salad greens of your preferred variety. When the fish is ready, arrange it in a bowl with the beans, rice, corn, on top of the bed of greens. If you were able to negotiate with a demon to aquire a good avocado, it looks lovely sliced on top. Add an artful squirt of Hidden Valley's zesty flavored ranch on top.

my favorite easy meal since i was a teenager is salsa chicken in an instant pot or slow cooker.
1 jar salsa
1 pack of taco seasoning
chopped cilantro (get the squeeze tube stuff for ease)
1/2 cup lime juice
chicken thighs
1 onion
2-3 bell peppers
Pinto/black beans
1-2 cups of broth/water

You can either dump it all in at once (after chopping the vegetables) and slow cook for 3 hours or pressure cook for 15- 23 minutes (less if chicken is not frozen) and it's great. Shred the chicken at the end or just as is.

If you want it to be better you can just saute the meat and vegetables first and keep the bell peppers on the side for adding at the end. I also use a specific spice blend for this, if you can find the cheap mexican seasoning packets from a market use these: california chili pepper, cumin, pasilla chili, garlic powder, hot new mexico chili pepper, and sprinkle in some MSG so it's extra good. If using this put in like 1/2 of the total mixture in the cooker.

Recently I like adding chicken breast to a dutch oven with orange juice, pepsi, serrano chiles, cumin and coriander, and then cooking it until it shreds easily.

Anyone want some brunch dishes done easy? I used to chef for a fancy restaurant and ran Sunday brunch. Useful shit for the holidays and impressing in-laws. I’ll dig out the files and copy-paste if anyone wants.

Got another recipe for you:

EnemyStand Simple Scrambler: This Time it's Breakfast!

Dice two redskin potatoes (leave the skin on, you philistine!) and drop them in a skillet with a large drizzle of cooking oil. Season with salt, pepper, and rosemary. Cook until soft.

While doing step one, chop half an onion and crush a clove of garlic. Drop all in the pan with the now soft potatoes. Cook until onion is translucent.

While waiting on the onions to cook, grab two eggs and scramble them up. Drop one (or two if you want to be fat) tablespoons of butter into the pan, partially melting it. Then add the eggs. If you're cooking in a cast iron pan (which you should be doing) take it off the heat. Stir it up until the eggs are mostly cooked.

Almost done. Drop in a handful of shredded cheese (I usually do cheddar or mozzarella) then season it up with salt and pepper. I also use chives and a bit of paprika. Stir in the seasoning then serve. I like to pair the scramble with whole grain toast or an English muffin.

Addendum: This is the basic bitch version of a scrambler. You can literally do just about anything with this base and make something good as hell, so experiment with veggies, cheeses, spices, and even other kinds of potatoes until you make something that makes you want to smack your grandma.

Vegan bowl with ham or other meat. Faster than making noodles on the stove.

Ingredients:
Fine couscous to cut down on time.
Frozen vegetable mix, I like the peas/corn/bell pepper mix because of their small size. The finely cut mushroom mix would also be fine.
Ham, preferably very smokey or other meat.
Maybe butter if you go succulent.
Total cost: almost nothing. Can be varied in many way.

1. Put the frozen vegetables in a sauce pan with the right amount of water for the amount of couscous you're making, water to couscous will be 50/50 so it's super easy.
2. Add salt, maybe a bit of chicken stock if any is within reach.
2. Let it boil, a generous serving will boil up in 3-4 minutes.
3. Remove from heat, pour in the couscous, stir so the vegetables are mixed up in there. Let it sit away from the heat with the lid on. 4 minutes IMO.

You now have 4 minutes of standing around the stove.
Minute 1-3: Retrieve the ham or other meat and slice them. You really don't need that much, you can use sandwich ham or salami or smoked fish. We're making food shuffled into the mouth with a spoon here, so be aware of the size you're cutting them into, you want even mouthfuls of everything.
Minute 4: Look around for any hot sauces, look at that expensive vinaigrette that shouldn't go into a trash dish like this. Is it too late for dry herbs? Will olive oil do something?

4 minutes have passed, the cousous is done:
6. Now stir in the ham or other meat into the pan and fluff it up a bit.
7. Lay up half of it in a bowl, put a decadent sized cut of butter on top of it, it should be the size of two two burger slices and about as thick. Pour the rest of the couscous mixture on top of that. The butter will melt away and get soaked up making a secondary succulent flavor layer(you can use a garlic or herbal if you have any around but this is an easy recipe)
8. Pour some of the hot sauce on top of the finished bowl. Or soy. Or nothing. Roasted sesame seeds? Frozen cilantro? Maybe.

tl;dr - this is a sub 10 minute recipe from start to finish and it's perfectly fine, especially during hot summer months and it can be varied to hell and back without taking any more time so it doesn't wear out its welcome.

Greasy American version: all of the above but you put two actual burger cheese slices on top of the finished bowl, then a fried egg on that so they really start to melt. I'm not comfortable with how much I enjoyed that.
