Caught my limit of walleye/sauger today, using lures that were already in my collection, no money spent other than gas to drive down to the river a couple miles away. Cost me less than a single fillet-o-fish from slopdonalds. And tasted a million times better.
Cooked up two of the fish tonight
Made a fish Sammie with a slice of cheese, bread and butter sweet pickles, and some dabs of ghost pep hot sauce.
Delicious and almost free dinner.

Edit; I still have 4 fish from my daily limit still soaking in water in my fridge. They will be frozen with ice soon and added to my freezer. Once a week all winter long I will be defrosting walleye and sauger and perch and crappie and channel cats for dinner. If you aren't eating self caught frozen fish fish twice a week all winter long you have zero survival skills. Good luck.
