At one point i thought food stamps were meant to buy just healthy food and not shit like pizza and bags of candy and such. Then i discovered it was basically free food miney to get what you want. Doesnt help that like a year ago i discovered that atleast in McDonald's, you can pay with food stamps, which at that moment i realized that it had gone out of control and that shit needed to he regulated or cut off completely. Imagine being punished because you earn money and are a productive member of society while some Nigger is living comfortably being payed to basically exist by the goverment.

I can very much agree with this sentiment. Just because we want them gone doesn't mean we need to be assholes during the process.
 
Look, it's simple - the easiest way to starve Socioeconomic Factors is to hide their food stamps under their workboots.

i just didn't like the implication that the mainline republicans and democrats both agreed on this. they did not. it was a small group of democrats who were actually out of the mainline who held to support this, and it took a while before democrats were actually positive about the idea. in this case, it was the opposite of what you're describing. it was different groups going AGAINST mainstream democrat thinking to pass it. it was pretty radical for the time, and wasn't something that made the democrats who did it popular with the other dems in congress at the time.

i think if you're going to make a vague statement about group dynamics, it's fair that someone else makes sure other people who aren't as informed as you are know the situation as it was on the ground, which is that there were a lot of states that did not ratify the amendment until after it was no longer edgy to do so, and the dem states that did were leaving the party line to do so. it wasn't the benevolence of the democratic party, but the wise understanding of a few democrat politicians, that helped it get to where it was, and i felt that was relevant context.

Why didn't they save for retirement, especially while living in a time when cost of living and housing prices were much less disparate from average wage/salary and it was much easier to save?
 
You know what? I actually say I hope that they all steal everything. I hope that every single black person regardless of their EBT status loses all of the last Goodwill of every non-black person who sits here and pays for all of their bullshit. Total fatigue. If this is what it takes, then this is what it takes.

I only feel bad for the people who work at jobs that accept EBT. You might as well just call out on the 1st and the 15th.

it won't just be the first. the only state that distributes the majority of EBT on the first is alaska. all the rest give it out through at least the first two weeks, if not over the entire month. it's going to be a week of niggers who don't check their balance coming in to try and buy a cart full of food and when they can't, chimping out and stealing it.
 
They won’t fix this. The Dems know that their supporters and the media will entirely blame Trump, which will increase votes for Dems. Meanwhile Trump doesn’t give a shit and thrives on chaos.

Nobody has the motivation to sort this out. The government want civil unrest and hunger.

401K raids of 2008, much lower wages than today, high healthcare costs, and inflation took out my parents' savings. They're both dead now, so they won't be chimping out. My mom had nothing but worthless household items left when she died, and I had to pay to dispose of them. Their life insurance was barely enough to cremate them and settle their debts.

Saving up when a good wage is $5 an hour doesn't go very far when McDonald's workers are now making $20 an hour.

My mom will go to WalMart to shop, and then finding everything useful is locked up will go out to the car and order it for pickup and wait the few minutes for them to bring it out. Probably helps she's retired and has some spare time.

I was in a California WalMart a few weeks ago and noticed all the underwear was locked up. Good times.

Same question. Millennial people at least have the excuse of college debt and low wages. What's any boomers excuse if they didn't save when they had the best times in human history?
