Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a 14 grand food stamp balance.
Who knows? If it was in some democrat run shithole state I'd be tempted to take it at face value. When Biden was in office they were giving out prepaid visas with 2-5 grand on them to every illegal that showed up in some states.

I am in one - Pennsylvania. I have never seen benefits that high before. 21 dollars for EBT and 200 for Food Stamps.

I'm not an illegal, though, so who the fuck knows.

Bullshit. The Taco Bell down the street has a big ass banner that says "WE ACCEPT EBT"
it's called the Restaurant Meals Program and like many other types of government charity it sounds reasonable until you realize it's 100% being abused by the same people that ruin every other good will program: niggers and illegals. you can tell it's a dumb idea that's for scamming money from the government just because it's supported by California, Illinois, and New York

The Restaurant Meals Program (RMP) is a state option to allow certain SNAP clients ... to be able to buy prepared meals at restaurants with their SNAP benefits.
To be eligible for the RMP, SNAP clients must be certified for SNAP in a state that has an RMP and all members of the household must be either:
  • Elderly (60 years of age or older);
  • disabled (receives disability or blindness payments or receives disability retirement benefits from a governmental agency because of a disability considered permanent);
  • homeless; or
  • a spouse of a SNAP client who is eligible for the RMP.

States that Operate a Restaurant Meals Program

- Arizona
- California
- Illinois
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- New York
- Rhode Island
- Virginia

Got this from someone I hadn't talked to in over a year out of the blue.

Seems like a copy paste quote they're trying to spread around like chain mail.

I guess some people are trying to fearmonger their way out of this, creating issues for non-issues.

join a church, the ones around me have boxes they put bagged lunches in.
The problem is that there is only 1 church within a 15 mile radius that has those sorts of things anymore. It got so overwhelmed with people coming in that they'd often run out of supplies way before the line would be done with. We have no car to travel long distances either.

Things are really stressful right now but we'll find a way. Even if I have to work an extra job on top of the 2 I already work.
In the past, we had: Churches, clubs, community AND family to help out. The benefit of these groups was that there was OVERSIGHT in how the funds were spent. Someone would go to the eagles or VFW and say "hey so and so can't make ends meet and they are disabled" and the clubs would use their charity funds(which come from gambling and donations) to help them out. Well the corpo left worked overtime to destroy those organizations because they kept the lobbyists away at the local level.
We used to have more church run programs around here but the lack of funding and donations and sheer volume of people forced a lot of them to shut down because they just could not continue anymore.

I saw some black guys commenting on this on youtube with some choice quotes as "Black women will belong to Black men again" and "Vagina will be going on clearance sale".
Only if they can actually be loyal and hold down a job, which black fathers are not particularly known to do.

Edit: I just realized this might produce more niggerspawn than ever before, now that abortion is illegal in a lot of states again. Horrifying.

Ayah. That's it. Nothing like takin your 6 kids to Church's on taxpayer dimes every night.

I know people who receive these sorts of government payments who certainly need/"deserve" it -- who belong to a chaotic and dysfunctional community but who are doing their best to impose a bit of order in their own lives, and who are picking up the slack for a dozen other people.

I also know people who treat government assistance as if it's just something that rains down from the sky. They treat the charity of others a bit like I treated my parents' support and assistance when I was a child -- as if my bed being made and my lunch getting prepared for me every day were things that "just happened." If my parents had suddenly stopped making lunch for me, I wouldn't have thought, "Well, it was good of them to make lunch for me as long as they did." I would have said, "What?! But I need my lunch!" I think people in this latter category respond to the threat of having their payments revoked in the same way. They're so used to receiving help from other people that they no longer perceive it as a favor voluntarily performed for them by someone else; there's no sense of gratitude or indebtedness. They're not conscious that another person is sacrificing on their behalf. You can see this in a lot of small ways.

I say this as someone who knows a lot of people in the latter category and regards many of them with affection. A person with a strong individual character who grows up in a miserable, vicious community is liable to absorb some of those bad qualities in spite of themselves.

My professional activities put me in close contact with Diverse Communities. Here is an exchange that has stuck with me because it captures in a small way the kind of reflexive ingratitude under discussion in this thread.

A Diverse Individual, member of the public, enters my workspace. I'm not yet "on duty," but, because I'm so nice, I don't kick him out. I just ask him to wait a few minutes until I'm prepared to perform my professional duties.

Diverse Individual: "Is there coffee?"

Me: "Yeah, I can get you coffee. Give me a couple of minutes."

I return with a cup of coffee for this individual.

Diverse Individual: "No sugar??"

Me: "Okay, I can get you sugar."

I return with a packet of sugar.

Diverse Individual: "Only one sugar??"

Me: "What, how many do you want?"

Diverse Individual: "Seven or eight."

Me: "You want EIGHT sugars??"

At no point was there a "thank you" or even an implicit acknowledgment that I was doing him a favor by making time in the midst of my professional duties to serve him a free coffee. He wasn't deliberately being a boor, I think -- just acting out the poor value system of his community.

When November passes and not a single person in the country has starved to death because regular people and charities stepped up lets be sure to point out that that's how it was supposed to work all along and not turn that shit back on.

To all the EBT niggers ITT:
The USA is the cheapest country in the world, and you can easily feed yourself here for about $25 a month.

I just finished such a $25 month. I have to say- not once was I hungry. Actually, sometimes I was too full.

Now, I don’t count drinks as food, obviously- eating is eating and drinking is drinking- and I spent about $50 just on Coke (2 liters a day, sometimes another liter at night).

So, let’s get to the $25 meal plan.
To survive a month for $25 you need:

  • 1 kg rice- about $0.75
  • 1 kg pasta- about $0.60
  • 1 kg barley - about $0.50
  • 6 kg potatoes- about $2
  • 2 kg margarine- about $1.25
  • 150 bread rolls- about $12.50
  • 10 boxes of Cocoa Crunchies- about $5
  • 15 packets of sauce mix, $0.12 each- about $1.75, or a few ready-made sauces for around $0.75 each

Total: about $25.
I even had $1.75 left from that twenty-five. Not bad.

How do we eat?
In the morning, cook up a pot of sauce- that’ll last you two days.

Week 1 – pasta. 5 rolls a day, half a box of Cocoa Crunchies.
Week 2 – rice. 5 rolls a day, half a box of Cocoa Crunchies.
Week 3 – barley. 5 rolls a day, half a box of Cocoa Crunchies.
Week 4 – potatoes, 5 rolls, half a box of Cocoa Crunchies.

Instead of Cocoa Crunchies you can buy chocolate spread- 400 g for $0.65- or off-brand chocolate puffs, about $0.30–$0.50 for 300 g.

So the meal plan is tested and very filling- I even had some rice and barley left, because a kilo per week is honestly more than enough.

The only things I missed were yogurt, cheese, and fish.
But I could easily repeat such a month- and I’m saying this as someone who loves to eat, stuff themselves, even overeat.

One George Washington, and you’re fed for the whole month.
The veggies are in the sauce, and the vitamins are in the Crunchies- all the vitamins and minerals that you need.
Charlie Kelly is that you?

No offense but if I had to eat like that, I'd kill myself.

Audio: "IMMA BE STEALIN SHEEEIT AND THE MUHFUGGIN WHITE MAN BETTER GET OUT DA WAY OR I'LL BE FIGHTIN'!"

Visuals: *the fattest most easy to stop landwhale imaginable sitting or lying down to avoid gravity causing them pain from how fat they are*

Unless these stores are location at the top of hills I'm pretty sure these obese tards aren't getting far running with a shopping cart.

My genuine reaction, as a fat myself mind you, to the first freakout video I saw was "I mean it's not like you're gonna starve."

Maybe, but this many starches and carbs won't do much to help obesity.
